Chief Enabler Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Last weekend we were 0-3, none of the games were close. After watching the healthy highlights of the Pats/Jets and even the Bruins spanking last night. Buffalo needs to man up. Sabres should handle their games, Columbus and Penquins have been playing really loose this week. Umberger has been pretty hot I think. If the Bills lose this one, there could be a riot. Tuesday's police blotter might be two pages.
Buffalo Wings Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Piece of cake... mmmmm......brownies. I personally like the ones with walnuts and chocolate chips.
shrader Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 I don't have a good feeling about this one. Of course, that has a lot to do with the fact that my usual 30-45 minute ride to work took 2.5 hours this morning. So yeah, that leaves me with the feeling that Buffalo will go 0-3 (maybe 0-2-1) and my college hockey rooting interest will go 0-2. I love that it's friday and all, but man do I wish complaint thursday lasted just a bit longer.

Despite a few bad goaltending mistakes, and a few bad defensive mistakes, Pens offense outscored both Detroit (arguably best team in hockey) and Philly (arguably best offense in hockey) and got a full-4 points from them. That's pretty impressive if you ask me.

shrader Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 That had to suck..I wouldve called it in and put a wrap on the day..Found a local Golf course and willed myself to a good friday..LOL It's not even close to golf weather around here. Too much rain today. But hey, things picked up a bit when I got to the office. I checked my email and apparently I won the British national lottery. I didn't even buy a ticket!
Chief Enabler Posted November 15, 2008 Author Report Posted November 15, 2008 Unofficially its 0 for 1  ....again, not even close. Speaking of Pens, wheres Sabretooth73 this year?
shrader Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Unofficially its 0 for 1  ....again, not even close. Speaking of Pens, wheres Sabretooth73 this year? 0-2 for me. A 5-1 loss and a 6-1 loss (probably).
Chief Enabler Posted November 15, 2008 Author Report Posted November 15, 2008 0-2 for me. A 5-1 loss and a 6-1 loss (probably). Are we losers?
SwampD Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Are we losers? Was there ever a question. I wear it like a badge.
Chief Enabler Posted November 15, 2008 Author Report Posted November 15, 2008 Was there ever a question. I wear it like a badge. I had a strange feeling for awhile there
Chief Enabler Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 Piece of cake... Okay, officially its 0 of 2, again not really close. Penquins run away in the 3rd with it. the Bills are our only hope to not be the armpit of the sportsworld. :worthy: Preview going into next week, Bruins still pretty hot....
darksabre Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 I'm just going to pretend this weekend never happened.
matter2003 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 sabres get slapped by a combined 11-3 score in 2 games...what do the Bills have? Hopefully not another dreadful performance on national TV
JohnRobertEichel Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 I'm just going to pretend this weekend never happened. Well, Sunday is going to be a great day since neither of our pussified teams can lose that one....can they?
darksabre Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 sabres get slapped by a combined 11-3 score in 2 games...what do the Bills have? Hopefully not another dreadful performance on national TV I know I'm not watching.
Chief Enabler Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 I'm just going to pretend this weekend never happened. what did you say last weekend?
shrader Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 I'm not even going to bother going to the college game I'm supposed to go to tomorrow. I think I'll just go walk in traffic instead. Either that or maybe I can go taunt some 6'8 250 lb guy at the gym.
darksabre Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 what did you say last weekend? I don't remember last weekend either.
nobody Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Now we have to look to the Bills for good Buffalo sports news? :o
darksabre Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Well if anyone needs some cheering up, go to Wegman's and buy yourself some 10th Anniversary Flutie Flakes. They're still as delicious as they were back when the Bills made the playoffs and the Sabres almost won a cup.
shrader Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I'm not even going to bother going to the college game I'm supposed to go to tomorrow. I think I'll just go walk in traffic instead. Either that or maybe I can go taunt some 6'8 250 lb guy at the gym. Who would have thought it? All the cars missed me and the 6'8 was deaf. 1-3 on the weekend now.
Chief Enabler Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 Now we have to look to the Bills for good Buffalo sports news? :o  Two weekends, total of 0-6...this thread will self destruct....
