carpandean Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 wow. never thought i'd see the day.o'linkelly. ;) (I actually got half-way through before I said "wait a minute ..." and read the newspaper's and author's names. )
That Aud Smell Posted November 14, 2008 Author Report Posted November 14, 2008 (I actually got half-way through before I said "wait a minute ..." and read the newspaper's and author's names. whoever's behind it is setting it up as our regional "onion." they've offered several very strong efforts to date. their coverage of bass pro is particularly excellent.
spndnchz Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 I like these stories in the left column: -Bea Arthur missing, search party called off due to lack of interest. -Gene Hackman suffers heart attack during marathon love making session with "Facts of Life" star Mrs. Garrett.
LabattBlue Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 That is very funny and I also was believing it for a good portion of the article.
That Aud Smell Posted November 14, 2008 Author Report Posted November 14, 2008 I also was believing it for a good portion of the article. yeah, it reads plausibly for a while ... but that piece about the potato famine sort of gives it away.
inkman Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Judging from the story, and quite honestly, I don't think Ronan has a leg to stand on. (I'm not a good person) :bag:

R_Dudley Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008  Got me right down to the end until the Derek Plante and Ronan comments and then I noticed some of the other stories ....... Anybody got a bridge for sale. :bag:
LabattBlue Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Anybody got a bridge for sale. :bag:  I've always considered it a good quality to have, if you are able to laugh at yourself!
Stoner Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 The name of the site and the byline didn't tip anyone off immediately?
R_Dudley Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008  I've always considered it a good quality to have, if you are able to laugh at yourself! I guess that's one of the benefits about getting older learning not to take yourself too seriously.. The name of the site and the byline didn't tip anyone off immediately? Yeah if I bothered to really read/notice them before I dove into the story. ... because it was "That Aud Smell" who usually has serious and well thought posts I kinda just went right for the poop so to speak and before ya know it your stepping in it and it smells too but NOT like the Aud.....
LabattBlue Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 I guess that's one of the benefits about getting older learning not to take yourself too seriously.. That certainly sounds like me! :)
UncleWally Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Only as long as Bo & Hope stay together.
bob_sauve28 Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 I hate Ronon Tynan and I don't care who knows it.
LabattBlue Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 I hate Ronon Tynan and I don't care who knows it. Ronan Tynan loves the Yankees + I hate the Yankees = I wish this article was true! :D
DonInBuffalo Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Jon Williams from Clarence and Mike Bognar from Buffalo cheer during ?God Bless America? prior to the NHL Winter Classic between the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins on Jan. 1 at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park. They were the only two of nearly 72,000 in attendance, who said they would like to see Tynan return. That's what tipped me off, and it was in bold at the very top of the article.
