ROC Sabres Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Fixed it for you. I like that third line now. Some responsibility to go along with Afinogivaway. I'm still up in the air about which of those two lines will actually be the third line. Granted the paille-general-max line definitely has the offensive handle over mair-goose-peters, but they have the experience and with max playing, well... like max and general still getting use to being an NHL center, I can see these two flipping either way.
Chief Enabler Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Per WGR. Peters in, Stafford and Kaleta out. Miller in goal. So the lines look like: Vanek-Roy-Kotalik Hecht-The Skill-Pommers Mair-Goose-Peters Paille-General Max Max gets his own line tonight! Lindy told him to just skate around with the puck while we change lines then come on in.
carpandean Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 So Ottawa, Atlatna, and St. Louis have owned the Sabres for the past 2 or 3 seasons. Sad thing is two of the three are not that good... Ottawa - yeah, they've definitely beaten us pretty badly (as a whole, if not in each game) since Pommer netted the OT series winner in the 2005-06 playoffs. St. Louis - they said on the radio today that the Sabres haven't beaten the Blues since the Aud! I haven't verified, but that's pretty bad if true. Atlanta - last season, we beat them 6-0 and 10-1, lost 6-5 is a shootout and had one bad 5-2 loss in the middle of our long losing streak. This year, we've lost two in OT/SO. I wouldn't say that they "have owned the Sabres."
LabattBlue Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Buffalo 7 St. Louis 1. The Sabres dominate from start to finish and everyone here will tell me what the sabres record is when Peters dresses. :D
SarasotaSabre Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 anyone know if the home broadcast is ch. 770 or 771 on DTV CenterIce? The guide shows both channels are showing the game, so one has to be the Sabes' broadcast?
R_Dudley Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Max gets his own line tonight! Lindy told him to just skate around with the puck while we change lines then come on in. Look Honey, (he says to his wife as Max takes puck down the ice) he's "Off again ov" Buffalo 7 St. Louis 1. The Sabres dominate from start to finish and everyone here will tell me what the sabres record is when Peters dresses. :D The Sabs are due for that come back beat down on someone game where all bounces go their way and they score 10 goals.... why not tonight.... But please mister, keep that Peter to your self where we can't see it ;)

BetweenThePipes00 Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Always seems to be the second one 771 for RJ, Harry and Mikey.. Home feed is always the second one ... so in this case yes, it is 771 ...
Two or less Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 I don't get if it's an ugly win, if it's a blow out win, but they just need to win this game. No over-time. Get it done in 60 minutes.

Two or less Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 While I'd prefer that they do it in regulation, since it's a WC team, I don't care as long as they win. While the two points is still two points, and while i could care less for the point St Louis gets, it will be a bit disappointing if the Sabres need over-time to beat the Blues, at home, with rest, coming off two poor showings. And if they go to the shootout, i will be very disappointed.
nfreeman Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Home feed is always the second one ... so in this case yes, it is 771 ... Interesting. Are you pretty sure on that?
SarasotaSabre Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 17 hours until I leave Iraq......98 hours until I get home......Sabres win 5-1 Safe travels, thank you for your service and God bless! Welcome home
SarasotaSabre Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Home feed is always the second one ... so in this case yes, it is 771 ... good call, thanks
bleedblueandgold Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Interesting. Are you pretty sure on that? 638 is the MSG feed all the time.....i dont bother with those channels.
ROC Sabres Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 I really hope that I'm not the only one tuned into MSG in the rochester area watching because Kevin Sylvester and Robbie are going on and on while they are on the air and MSG doesn't know it. Best part was Sylvester saying "and tonight the sabres will play a not so good team and then on friday they play another not so good team but they play the penguins saturday in the igloo" and "I need to call ray a slut" This has been the best pre game show ever, I'll try to get it from the DVR to youtube or something.
Claude Balls Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Gotta give Peters credit, Koci is huge and Peters matched him and the boys come back to score. The team plays better with Peters in there and that's the truth.
ThePebble19 Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Anyone know what song they are playing this year after the goal? It sounds different than last year...
ROC Sabres Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Anyone know what song they are playing this year after the goal? It sounds different than last year... flickerstick-beautiful is one of them
ROC Sabres Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Pommers! Who lit the fire under this teams ass?
SabreInFla Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 I love when "these" Sabres decide to show up.
thesportsbuff Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 we really need to just put connolly on the IR until his contract is up so our better physical players like stafford and kaleta can play /youguys
Claude Balls Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Pommers! Who lit the fire under this teams ass? That would be partly Peters.
