Two or less Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Check this out- I heard this during the intermission of the Vancouver/Anahiem game and found the quote online, it was actually in an interview with Yahoo's Puck Daddy. What's so special about [Crosby]? I don't see anything special there. Yes, he does skate well, has a good head, good pass. But there's nothing else. Even if you compare him to Patrick Kane from Chicago ... [Kane] is a much more interesting player. The way he moves, his deking abilities, his thinking on the ice and his anticipation of the play is so superb. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_dadd...?urn=nhl,118770 Umm.... ok.
wonderbread Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 isn't everyone entitled to his own opinion. I personally think Crosby is a great player but the media makes him out to be from up on high. He has always been refered to as "the next great one" I for one am sick of it and am tired of getting his hog Jammed down my throat everytime I turn a game on whether he is in it or not. Cheers to Semin for saying it.

He certainly didn't mince words when it came to his feelings about the US Hockey program. Herb Brooks is to US Hockey what John Wayne is to movies. We miss them both.

matter2003 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I like when he said him and Ovechkin are out on the highway around 1 am driving 160 mph.... I am sure Caps management would love to know this is what their 2 young stars are doing with their time late at night.... there is a disaster waiting to happen....
Two or less Posted November 1, 2008 Author Report Posted November 1, 2008 Yeah agreed. Dissing US Hockey, admitting that you and Ovechkin go 160mph.... and dissing the leagues top player. Respect your opponent. No player is bigger then the game itself and Crosby is one of the best players.
TM8-PL16 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I like when he said him and Ovechkin are out on the highway around 1 am driving 160 mph.... someone might want to remind him of the Danny Heatley murder accident.
Stoner Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 someone might want to remind him of the Danny Heatley murder accident. Ignorance. It was an accident. Let it go.
bottlecap Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Big balls? Jammed down our throat? Semin? Leave me outta this!

gregkash Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Let's compare. Semin .... nothing Crosby ... Calder Trophy, Hart Trophy, Art Ross Trophy, Prince of Wales Trophy C'mon Alexander.
wonderbread Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Welcome. As did Tim Horton. IMO Tim makes a much better cup of coffee than Pelle.
