Stoner Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Some random facts to do with what you will: In 06-07, the Sabres went 5-4 at home in the playoffs. In the 06-07 and 07-08 regular seasons combined, the Sabres allowed more goals at home than on the road. Last season, the Sabres had seven homestands (defined as two or more games in a row at home) and had a winning homestand only twice. Since the lockout, including the playoffs, the Sabres have lost 54 games at home and 62 on the road. I'm starting to dread home games anymore, especially homestands. The Sabres just fall asleep too many times and usually end up blaming themselves for being "too cute" or "trying to please the fans." I'm certainly not hoping for home-ice advantage in the playoffs. I'd rather start on the road. Tawk amongst yourselves.

SwampD Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 I think all the wings slow them down. I have been noticing that for a couple of years as well.
