Very good new. It will probably still be close to the 2 week mark before he comes back, but that's better than 4 weeks. Of course, as always, I'd rather he take another game or two off if there is any risk of doing any damage. 2 weeks and a day is better than 2 weeks, then 4 more off.

Fixed.

Sorry, but Lindy already stated that Hank would probably be back this weekend. Basically, he has a cut right where the ankle of his skate boot rubs, making it painful to skate with. A couple days of healing and he will be back.

Conflicting report on WGR, claims Tallinder may even play tonight-

Lindy Ruff says Henrik Tallinder is much better today. He will dress for warm-up and if he still feels good, he will play tonight against Tampa Bay. Paul Gaustad returns and will join "Schopp and The Bulldog" for tonight pregame show. That puts Matt Ellis back in the Press Box. Gaustad will center Pat Kaleta and Andrew Peters. Ryan Miller will be back in goal for his 7th start. He leads the NHL with a 1.60 goals against. His .940 save percentage trails the Lightning's Mike Smith and Boston's Tim Thomas. Ruff is worried about Smith because he feels he's best in the league at playing the puck. Dump ins must be placed well or on the glass to avoid him.

Not really conflicting. Lindy said yesterday that he expected him to play this weekend. If he's a game-time decision for tonight, then it's pretty likely that he will be ready to go this weekend. Ink's post suggested that he didn't want to see Hank back at all (change "they" to "Rivet".)

Yes it is.

Buffalo News John Vogl-

Defenseman Henrik Tallinder also skated for the first time since suffering a cut on his ankle Saturday. Neither blue-liner will play tonight when the Sabres host the Tampa Bay Lightning

vs.

WGR's Paul Hamilton-

He will dress for warm-up and if he still feels good, he will play tonight against Tampa Bay.
