carpandean Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Pirates make moves to solidify rosterLink>>>> I watched their last game on AHL Live (paid the $4 for an archived game because I really wanted to see the kids play) and saw the blocked shot that took Hunter out. He looked to be in a lot of pain, but you never know if it is just a stinger or if something is actually broken. Sucks that it's the latter. Side note from the game: Kennedy looks pretty good and Gerbe is freakin' fast. I can't tell you how many time that he started four strides behind somebody and caught him in within three more strides. I think he needs to work a little more on playing with his teammates, but he puts the puck on net and gets to the right spot well. If he is willing to listen to his coaches, he could be an amazing two-way forward despite, and to some degree because of, his size.
Strow Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Hunter does have broken bones in his foot. Kennedy will be a good two way player when he comes up he plays very smart.
