Spudz Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I can understand if they call him on it, but after the sens jump him they should get one too. If they sit there an complain it's a different story. It's not like Alfie would ever drill it at someone when time expires.
McD Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Max gets an unsportsmanlike penalty for shooting the puck after the whistle. I got no problem with this if they call it regularly. This is the first time I have ever seen it. Me neither...weird.

Spudz Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Right, just ask Scott NeidemayerWhat a horseshit call!! That is one reason I can never even remotely like the sens. After he did that and Murray spitting all over defending him, I lost total respect (Granted I didn't have much to begin with).
Chief Enabler Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 2002 Senators roster....with Rob Ray, no less. 02 roster interesting intermission coverage
wjag Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Max shoot after the whistle and gets unsportsmanlike penalty... First time I have seen this one.. Heatley... Damn Buffalo: Senators: :death: :death:
X. Benedict Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Max shoot after the whistle and gets unsportsmanlike penalty... First time I have seen this one.. Heatley... Damn Buffalo: Senators: :death: :death: BS call.
wjag Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Why does Ottawa always make the Sabres look like a JV team when they play them?
wjag Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Spezza just abuses our defense right down the middle Buffalo: Senators: :death: :death: :death:
Knightrider Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Why does Ottawa always make the Sabres look like a JV team when they play them? Great question.
X. Benedict Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 This penalty better be on the Sens. I guess they are going to call every third interference call.
carpandean Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Spezza just abuses our defense right down the middle Buffalo: Senators: :death: :death: :death: It looked like Sekera headed off on a change when the puck was being contested and his replacement (or maybe he turned back) didn't have a chance of getting back. Bad choice.
SwampD Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 good. God I hate Clement. I think he wants some a$$ love by spezza.
Spudz Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 It seems like the problem with the power play is not the point men. They actually do a good job moving the puck around, but inside there is no movement. They just post up which is fine if the puck is coming, but the longer you stand there the more likely someone is going to post them up. I wish they would circle a little more down low. Cut in front of the goalie back and forth. Every time it is pass across, pass back, no opening, pass across, shoot, no deflection, and cleared.
SarasotaSabre Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 yeah what makes this a tough game to watch is I was hoping the Sabres game tonight would ease the sting of the Bills' loss yesterday. Looks like our home team is laying another egg one day later....geesh, this sucks. I know we're entitled to a crap game once in a while, but I absolutely freaking HATE losing to the Senators.... :wallbash:
rickshaw Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 As I stated yesterday, I had a bad feeling about this one. For some reason, we just can't beat these guys like we should.
wjag Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Pomminstein is clearly in a funk. Missed a WIDE open net..
Guest Sloth Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Some friends and I were thinking the same thing yesterday. The Senators own the Sabres. And whenever Ottawa really needs a w, they get it from Buffalo. You'd think that'd motivate the Sabres to kick it into another gear...
Guest Sloth Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I'm still waiting for Pommiville and Roy to get into a groove. 80 point season isn't looking too good for either one of them, right now.
wjag Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Someone finally hit Alfie.. Good for you Weber...
SwampD Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 How is that a power play for ottawa?! WTF
X. Benedict Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 How is that a power play for ottawa?! WTF Who the hell knows....this has been a very poorly officiated game.
