Brave Ronin Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 What bars in the rochester area play the game with sound? Is there any place other than tully's? Is there a place where lots of fans go? I was in Buffalo last week and I stopped in at the pearl street grill... the atmosphere was cool, they had good beer, and the sound blasted even outside. I am probably asking for a lot but is there anything like that? My one experience at tullys for opening night last year was underwhelming. Sorry if this question is answered elsewhere.
inkman Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Not really sure there is a good answer here. The only places I've watched Sabres games in Rochester, have all been underwhelming. I would try to find a place that caters to you.
tulax Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 How about Philadelphia, Any good bars in center city where sabres games are shown with regularity?
SabresFanInRochester Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 The Distillery has been okay for me. They have good beer. I know they will have the game on. If it is in the midst of World Series, you might have a mixed crowd. There is a location on Mt. Hope and one on Winton. The Winton address is pretty new. Good luck!
ROC Sabres Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 New place opened up a few months ago out here in Chili called Knuckles. It's basically Macgregor's but a sports bar. I haven't been there for the sabres games yet but they played the bills game with audio and I'm sure rochester probably has more sabres fans than bills. Oh yea, and in the back they have a bunch of Millers gear. Not sure if it's game worn or not but still pretty sweet.
