ROC Sabres Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Better period, needs to be even better for the 3rd. Miller is playing great right now. The Kessel goal is the only one that he can be held accountable for. Widemans he was screen by at least 4 players.
wjag Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Pomminstein, Kotalik, Roy are practically invisible in this game.. Boston seems to be entering our zone on oddman rush after oddman rush. Their transition from D to O is flawless tonight. They have got to be tired... Buffalo needs to start wailing on them... They are not checking them much....

Yeah even the Kessel goal isn't really his fault... you can't really expect a goalie to stop someone walking right into the slot with time to pick a spot and rip it. You can hope he does though.
ROC Sabres Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 And the dump and chase needs to go. Boston is too good at playing it since they play the trap. Buffalo needs to try to dance into the offensive zone, no matter what happens, give-away or goal. They have only been setup in the offensive zone about 4 or 5 times that I've seen that looked like legit scoring chances.

Are you saying guys in the 20's and in great shape can't play hockey 2 nights in a row???
james duncan Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Comic book guy editorial, "Worst hockey game, ever." Sabres really playing like they couldn't care less so far. No passion. No energy. No hitting. And definitely look like a team with no playmaking center on its roster--finally catching up with them? Knew it had to happen. Wouldn't have thought it'd be against the B's though. One period to hopefully salvage a point they haven't earned so far.
thesportsbuff Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 it's about time stafford did something
wjag Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 That was pretty... Stafford did that all by himself... :worthy: Buffalo:   Bruins: :death: :death:
ROC Sabres Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 FINALLY!!! DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW@!
Knightrider Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 What a beautiful goal by Stafford!

Bigthuder1636 Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Am I mistaken or is Lydman actually throwing his body around tonight?
SarasotaSabre Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 nice work VS - we have "outscored" the B's 11-3 since the Kessel goal... :wallbash:
jwcolour Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 awesome goal... kinda like Vaneks against i think montreal... Too bad we couldn't keep it going and now are on the PK
Hard Rain Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jwcolour Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Wow nice save. Also when max skates we all know what he has to offer...but when is he ever going to learn how to pass? His passes are abominations to hockey.
SarasotaSabre Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Max - the classic 2 on 2 jerkoff move, turning it over on a weak pass - can he do a dump and chase one time in his career? um, no
jwcolour Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Again when he skates he draws penalties
wjag Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 okay.. Buffalo PP.... Do it now.... Don't let Boston out of this building with any points... 3 minutes to go...
