Bmwolf21 Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 There had to be something else going on besides starting 0-4.
X. Benedict Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 Quenneville is a very solid coach. Smart move.
LabattBlue Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 Now that old man Wirtz is gone, do they televise Blackhawks games in the Chicago area or is it still "if you want to see them , go to the game".
FogBat Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 Now that old man Wirtz is gone, do they televise Blackhawks games in the Chicago area or is it still "if you want to see them , go to the game". Last I heard was that they would televise them, and that was Rocky Wirtz's directive.
Taro T Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Quenneville is a very solid coach. Smart move. Agreed. Savard was a phenomenal player, but it is rare for a TRULY phenomenal player to be a good coach. The good/great coaches typically are the guys like Ruff or Pat Burns who have to work their butts off to make it to the level they attain.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 When Savard heard the news, I betcha he did a spin-o-rama on the way out of the owners office.............
