inkman Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Cut Lydman some slack. Tallinder on the other hand... :rolleyes:PS So Lydman had a FEW more giveaways than anyone else on the blueline. He now has a lot of room for improvement. :) http://www.nhl.com/ice/playerstats.htm?fet...rtssPlayerStats He nearly doubled the closest Sabre. Ouch, my opinion of Loods is diminishing, if that is possible.
LabattBlue Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 He nearly doubled the closest Sabre. Ouch, my opinion of Loods is diminishing, if that is possible. ...but on the other hand, add his blocked shots and hits together and compare those numbers to the other wussies on the blue line! :o
Two or less Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Lydman is a good player as long as he's got a good partner who can move the puck. He hits. He blocks shots. He logs a ton of minutes, i believe like 20 per game on average for a full season and he's an iron man. Rarly gets hurt. Ever. That in itself is worth him being a top 6 d-men for the Sabres. Some of you are just plain out haters.... lol
