Corp000085 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 There is absolutely no reason why all games can't be in HDTV. All regional games are done via the home crew. road regional games tap into the feed and apply their post production through the feed. In this day and age, tapping into an hd signal consists of a box with blinking lights and a slightly bigger dish on top of the production truck outside the arena. No hd for road games totally blows.
inkman Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Awesome. It feels like hockey season again. No one associated with the league can ever get out of their own way.
dietlbomb Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Speaking of HDTV, which areas are getting the home Sabres games in hd? I think my parents get them in Rochester, but it hadn't made its way down to Ithaca yet.

I think it was the day after their last home game to tell ya the truth. Nice thing about some of the away games is that they will be on Versus, i think, which always carries HD with everywhere with the HD package.
wjag Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Doesn't change much for us ex-patriots. We usually watch the out-of-town broadcast on CenterIce. We rarely get the MSG feed for the road games.

Yeah on Time Warner. I heard this season they may even do 2-3 games a night sometimes so chances are pretty good. If you have Direct TV, i believe like 90% of all games are HD on Center Ice. I can't confirm it, my buddy has direct tv in Boston and told me some crazy stat like that and watches a bunch of HD games a night so i believe him. lol
