nobody Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Can the Sabres still sign him mid-season? :w00t:
darksabre Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I guess I need to change my vote in the predictions thread...
frisky Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 "Assistant Coach Ulf Dahlen, who returned to his native Sweden for a plumb head coaching opportunity." He went back to coach plumbers?
spndnchz Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Guys, take a look at the video salute it's pretty cool. I love that song by Stone Sour. Besides having "the stars" in it, a bit odd for a tribute.

dante23x Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 "Assistant Coach Ulf Dahlen, who returned to his native Sweden for a plumb head coaching opportunity." He went back to coach plumbers? Maybe he's cultivating plums. I hear they are popular in Sweden.
carpandean Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 very good video, you can tell how much he loved the game. Glad to see him go on to coaching. Definitely, on all accounts. Side note: if you needed any more reason for the Sabres to get ice girls, check out their video on the lake. :w00t:
ROC Sabres Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Definitely, on all accounts.Side note: if you needed any more reason for the Sabres to get ice girls, check out their video on the lake. :w00t: We already have enough drunk horny guys filling out the arena every night they play. Now if Tom could get some call girls to line up after the game then maybe he could afford 2 sugar packets instead of 1. Congrats to Stu, he will be a great coach.
bob_sauve28 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Excellent player and loved having him here. Best of luck Stuuuuuu!
FogBat Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 http://stars.nhl.com/team/app/?service=pag...rticleid=380599 I didn't know he'd been in the league that long. If only he'd come back to Buffalo instead of staying in Dallas... :(
Hawerchuk Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Congrats on his retirement. We loved ya Stu in the Goathead uni's!! Was a great Sabre. but we still HATE Dallas!! HA HA>
Chief Enabler Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Any notice that we got Mike Ryan in that deal? and a second rounder? who was that?

HA HA> You said what I was thinking. I was just mincing my words (for once). BTW, speaking of hating teams, I wonder if connee is going to come out with a Dallas Stars tribute.
Taro T Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Any notice that we got Mike Ryan in that deal? and a second rounder? who was that? Branislav Fabry
Knightrider Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Congrats on his retirement. We loved ya Stu in the Goathead uni's!! Was a great Sabre. but we still HATE Dallas!! HA HA> I have a hard time hating the Dallas Stars. They didn't screw us. Bettman did. They are about the only example (maybe Tampa, too?) of hockey succeeding in the south. Now the Cowboys are a different story.
That Aud Smell Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 ... and another former winnipeg jet retires. how many are left? is it just teppo now? EDIT: oh, and there'd be tkachuk, right?

Shane Doan Nikolai Khabibulin Chad Kilger UFA's but unretired AFAIK Dallas Drake Deron Quint (although it doesn't look like he played anywhere last year, and was in Europe the year before) Oleg Tverdovski (although it doesn't look like he played anywhere last year) I'm probably missing 1 or 2, but they are becoming a rare breed.

I guess that one falls squarely on Norm Green though.
spndnchz Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Branislav Fabry who? D-U-N, done http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospect/branislav_fabry
inkman Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 D-U-N, done http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospect/branislav_fabry What do mean he's done? He racked up one assist is 22 games played 4 years ago. That .045 PPG puts him ahead of Peters career .03 PPG.

Chief Enabler Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 I am surprised there are not more haters out there on this one. Its like raw meat!
