BuffaloSoldier2010 Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 I am in way too much pain to be sitting at this Amerks game watching them suck up and down the ice. I'm manning up and they aren't. Ugh. Ouch. really that bad?

darksabre Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 You should take some of shrader's drugs. I would love some of those. Anything to make the hair on my arms stop hurting.
Bmwolf21 Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 What a weird day. Full moon hitting my customers and staff hard. Plus last week I found out that I lost out on a position I had applied and interviewed for. According to a friend at the company I was applying they really like me and my experience a lot but went with the other guy because he had a little more direct experience in health care than I do. Kicker was that he had already interviewed, offered, accepted and then declined the position a couple months ago and then begged to be reconsidered, so they did and gave him the job again.
Eleven Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Today is my birthday. The wife and I went to the casino and I played craps for the first time ever. Literally walked up to an empty table and asked the (dealer?) how to play. I won a couple hundred dollars even after tipping the (dealer?) handsomely. Just got a call out of the blue from my adult step-son. He and his fiance offered to come home from college near Rochester tonight to watch my two younger kids so we can go out again tonight. Sorry I've got no complaints but if I waited until F'n Friday to post this, the first point would no longer have been valid. :) Happy birthday. Hope you and the wife are NOT reading this right now.

FogBat Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 I'm going to assume you're not a big fan of Richard Dawkins? Did you really have to ask that question??? <_<
RazielSabre Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Did you really have to ask that question??? <_< Yes, oh yes oh yes. As an Atheist more so. :)
LabattBlue Posted October 14, 2011 Author Report Posted October 14, 2011 I forgot that as author of this thread, I can open or close it whenever I want. :nana:
NowDoYouBelieve Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Buddy's fiance was cheating on him, he caught the bitch red handed. Just pisses me off. But now I get to call her a bitch out loud instead of just inside.
Samson's Flow Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Creston Iowa. Show up for my reservations in this crappy hotel in the middle of nowhere and they don't have my reservation on file (even though I have a copy in my hand). Told me they were full and I had to drive down the country road to the Super 8. If you've ever stayed in the middle of nowhere at a Super 8 you would understand my complaint
dEnnis the Menace Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 My complaint...it took this long for the thread to open. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, went to RIT for 6 years to get my bachelors and masters in engineering. I currently work as a Sales Engineer (first sales gig ever in my life...) at a company, and it's been quite the experience so far. my biggest complaint is the disconnect between sales and engineering. Sales requests something (drawing change, layout drawing to give to a customer, installation instructions, whatever), and it takes a bunch of himing and hawing just to get them to do it. I have tried to do several of these things on multiple occasions, only to be told I'm doing it wrong, and then left to figure it out on my own. Well this time, instead of telling me I did something wrong (which I didn't come to find out), everybody basically ignored my request for a drawing change...1 week after I sent it out one of the engineers let me know that he hasn't acted on the DC request because nobody responded. 1 week...1 WHOLE WEEK! I didn't know that once I send out a request that I need to hold everyone's hand to get it done. Once it leaves my desk, it's SUPPOSED to be the engineers problem...not mine, even if I put the request in.
LastPommerFan Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 I ran my first full marathon on Sunday. I did not pace properly, and wound up setting a personal record for the half marathon on the first 13.1 miles. That made the second half tough as my legs looked up at me around mile 14 and said, "Dude, you ######-ed up!" 4 days later and I still can't walk down stairs.

Guy here at work ran one a few weeks back, and he was hurting for a good week afterwards. I have no desire to ever run one. Good for you though.

They still won't let me. I'm really starting to get the itch to move around a lot more and hit people.

Yes I do. Unfortunately shipping them to Utah probably gets me in a whole new level of trouble. How can they miss a fracture though? Did they even take any x-rays?
darksabre Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 I'm finally getting over the flu...and now the girlfriend is sick. Can't win. Also, I think it's officially time to put the bike away :(
Buffalo Wings Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 I'm leaving this job, but it still irks me when people just don't get it. Listen to the facts that I present instead of nodding your head (as if you agree), then continuing to present your case.
