No natural predators of course. They are considering importing some tiny parasitic wasps that feast on lanternflies in Asia but that obviously has it own risks so they are being very cautious with that.

I wish the damned birds would figure out they are food. They'd get so fat they couldn't fly.

I didn't realize they're already that established there.  Biological control is last resort most of the time, especially if there's a niche to be filled.  I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

Seriously though. Entitlement in twenty-somethings mixed with a thin skin. I thought it was an age gap thing and maybe I just don’t understand where they are coming from. Now I’m wondering if they don’t understand reality.

I tore my Achilles years ago. It sucks. Took a good 2 months  in a boot For it to heal.  Lucky me it was my left foot so I could still drive

Minor complaint, but my daughter went to the dentist today for the first time in a while and she has TEN cavities!

Holy ***** that's a lot.  Might wanna get a second opinion.  That dentist might be trying to recuperate from pandemic losses.  Ya know when you go to get an oil change and they tell you your cabin filter needs to be replaced.

Two things.

First, has the quality of undergarments gone down hill over the last few years?  It seems like socks and underwear do not last as long as they used to.

Secondly, has anyone tried the equate hand sanitizer?  My wife bought a bunch of big jugs of them and the contents smell like yeast to me.  I literally cannot get over the smell, it's nauseating.

YES! (To the second point.) And I love it for that reason, although I know it's slowly killing me.

My doctor referred me to a specialist. I get 2-3 calls every day with messages left telling me to call the specialist back to schedule. I've about had it. I suspect they are desperate for business, and when I go in, I'm getting the Deluxe Bone Marrow Biopsy (drill into one femur, get the second femur half off!).

I can't count the number of times I've bumped into those plexiglass windows in any store with the brim of my hat.  It's pretty much always while I'm looking down to use the credit card machine.

I know it’s technically Friday but mods have these privileges....

Last week sucked. It started Sunday with a huge cramp in my whole left leg. Luckily my roommate was home and massaged it out. I noticed both my feet were ice cold, while my legs were normal temp (weird right?)

I don’t remember but was told that about an hour later my whole body froze up and was like one big body cramp. My roommate called 911 and fire, ambulance, whole nine yards were at the house. I was put on a back board and taken outside to the ‘cart’. I guess I was worked on for about 15 minutes before being taken to the hospital. Turns out I was having seizures and had another when I got to the hospital.

i don’t remember anything until early Wednesday. 3 iv’s, meds and around the clock nurse aid watching over me until Friday. Really thought I was going home on Saturday but they kept me until Sunday afternoon. I follow up with a few Dr’s next week. They initially think it’s Pancytopenia.
