Favorite Sabres Jersey

It really sucks when absolutely nothing is going on, so in the spirit of the most obscure player (jersey) thread, I add this one:

 

What is your favorite jersey in your collection?

 

 

 

Mine: Derek Roy, Sz 50, Black Goathead, Game Worn - Preseason 2002-03. You could say it was his first dark Sabres jersey, only his second ever Sabres jersey (their first two preseason games were at home that year, so the whites were worn first) and from his first NHL set. It came with a LOA from the team, but has also been photo-matched by Meigray (preliminarily; I am sending for official matching, registration and LOA) to three separate Getty Images from those games, including this one:

Mine is my dark Angry goat head Rob Ray since IMHO that jersey matched his nasty on ice personna... that and it's the only one I ever bought / own.

Mine is a tie. My favorites are my Stu Barnes 1998-1999 home white jersey that is a game worn jersey. I've photomatched and videomatched it. The jersey was worn set 3 and the playoffs. I photomatched it to the 1999-2000 Sabres media guide and videomatched it to the Boston and Toronto series in the 1999 playoffs. This jersey is Stu's first home Sabres game worn

 

My other favorite is my Daniel Briere 03-04 home black game worn. It's a set 3 and has the A on the chest. Awesome jersey that is registered through MEI-GRAY

I like my red goat head practice jersey that I used to wear all the time for pickup hockey and is now covered in blood.

 

As for actual jerseys, I guess I'll have to go with my blue LaFontaine. You can't beat the look of that thing.

I have quite a few of all the styles, motsly old blue and gold ... but I think my favorite is the 1984 Wales Conference All-Star Perreault jersey ... none are game worn or autographed, I like wearing them and if they were truly valuable I wouldn't want to wear them.

For wearing, I have a Pominville 2006-07 Third (RBK), a Roy 2006-07 Blue/Home (RBK), a Peca 1999-00 Black/Away (Pro Player) and a Satan 2001-04 White/Home (CCM). They're all authentics (on-ice), but not game worn. I won't ever wear my Game Worn Roy. That one will go in a display case for my future game room.

Rob Ray game-worn home blue and gold, from 92-93 I believe. It's totally doctored and rigged for easy removal. The best part is I showed it to Rob and he told me all the crap he did to it to make it like that.

 

Dale Hawerchuk home blue and gold. My Dad bought it for me the last time we went to the Aud, the year before it closed down. Oddly enough, it still fits and I wear when they come to town.

I have Ryan Miller, Keith Tkachuk Blues (my favorite non Sabre), Paul Pozluzny, but favorite is my Robin Ventura Oklahoma State jersey, my all time favorite baseball player. I also have a Ventura Mets jersey.
