Corp000085 Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 I have no facts to back this up, nor do i really care at this point in my life. I'll make this argument just for the sake of ruffling some feathers. I'll let you know this now before i make my point. Janet Jones may or may not have bet on nhl games. That's for the justice department to figure out... With that said, Wayne was very quick to make note that "it was a good goal" in regards to brett hull. Now, what if Gretzky, through his wife (lets not kid ourselves here that janet's the real problem), had money on the stars. He and his seedy friend brett hull ended up together in phoenix this year. Just a little "what if" debate. have at it
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Even if Gretzky had a million bucks on the stars, what happens if way after the fact he would have said "Nah it was a bad goal!" Would he have to give the money back? of course not. It's not like Gretzky was making the decision whether or not to review it at HSBC that night ....
Corp000085 Posted February 24, 2006 Author Report Posted February 24, 2006 No, but he definitely supported 100% the exact opposite of the complete opposite that night.
