inkman Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 I'll get back when I figure out what that means...
Eleven Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 I keep telling these people, 3 is NOT a letter. They don't seem to learn. Also, that's an impressive number of washers and transmissions. He can build one hell of a machine, there.
SarasotaSabre Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Thanks, I really appreciate that - it took me 2 days to decipher it
apuszczalowski Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=242465&lid...s=secStory_main Looking like it could be true, although its only being reported by the Russian team, no word from Jagr who just recently said he was going to take his time making a decision
FogBat Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=242465&lid...s=secStory_main Looking like it could be true, although its only being reported by the Russian team, no word from Jagr who just recently said he was going to take his time making a decision This had been rumored for a while that Jagr was going to play for a Russian team this coming season. I respected him when he was with the Pens and teamed up with Mario. However, it appears to me that he started getting a negative and prissy attitude as soon as he left Pgh.
Two or less Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 $35 million for 2 seasons. Jesus Christ. :o
BetweenThePipes00 Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 $35 million for 2 seasons. Jesus Christ. :o With an option for a 3rd season ... what does he get if they pick up the option? All the Vodka in Russia? Are they going to re-claim Czechoslovakia for him to rule over? I mean, while they are promising him stuff, why not? What are the odds he sees all that money?
Rico7 Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 $35 million for 2 seasons. Jesus Christ. :o But I'm sure it's not about the money.

A Russian Oil company owns that team, so they are pretty wealthy. lol
jimiVbaby Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 A Russian Oil company owns that team, so they are pretty wealthy. lol ...and haven't seen his lazy play and lack of personality.
FogBat Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 $35 million for 2 seasons. Jesus Christ. :o *Ahem!* [tapping on your shoulder] What did you say???
RuffRuff Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 All I have to say about that is для самого результативного хоккеиста в регулярном чемпионате.
RuffRuff Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 But I'm sure it's not about the money. There's likely to be more to this than meets the eye, folks. The Sabres, and many other teams, avoided good Russian prospects in this draft like the plague. Russia is on the way back, and they're throwing around unbelievable sums of tax-free money. It would not surprise me if even Max's value is diminished by this. Russia will be overpaying for talent for many years to come, and guys like Max will always have that opportunity in their back pocket.
K-9 Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Is it possible that a dyslexic makes perfect sense of Cyrillic? GO SABRES!!!
thesportsbuff Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 This super-NHL-competitive Russian league is really taking off! <_<
shrader Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 I wonder how much of that money goes back to the mafia in return for their protection.
FogBat Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 I wonder how much of that money goes back to the mafia in return for their protection. Talk about a hit below the belt line (as if that wasn't already overstating the obvious)!
carpandean Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 $35 million for 2 seasons. I believe that's enough money to buy a small former Soviet state and sufficient surplus military equipment to support an army to protect it.
