BetweenThePipes00 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 I would be extremely happiness to be an assistance to you for that puroposes.
inkman Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Shouldn't Gaustad Kaleta be our Avery/Tucker? The Sabres shouldn't have to go out and spend money bringing in another body to do Gaustad's Kaleta's job. He's 6'5" 225lbs 5'11" 195 lbs, he should shouldn't be the face of the Sabres toughness. He's not is, which is a huge disappointment. fixed :)
Bmwolf21 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 I would be extremely happiness to be an assistance to you for that puroposes. I just got two of the best job offers EVER. 5-6 hours a week, 7% commission on all the funds I manage from home. All I need is a Bank of America checking account...I just sent them ALL my info, including my SSN, checking account #, mother's maiden name, passwords, everything. I want this job so bad. Woo-hoo! I'm gonna be rich!
nfreeman Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 I do. me too, although I have no idea whether Tucker has anything left in the tank. Shouldn't Gaustad be our Avery/Tucker? He's not, which is a huge disappointment. Gaustad is yet another Sabre who had a disappointing year last year. I really think all these guys needed a few quality veterans to shoulder the pressure and to lead the way. In the toughness context, if guys like Gaustad, Paille, Stafford, Bernier and even Kotalik see a tough SOB like Tucker playing with an edge and making the other team pay the price for running Miller, I think those guys' play will get tougher too. Maybe it should come from within, but it's human nature to follow someone else's lead, esp. when you're a young player.

They need to be more than a bunch of Adam Creightons.

There were a few games last season with Kaleta in the lineup and after Bernier was added that they played physically as a team. I know it was fun to watch and, if I remember correctly, they also won most of those games. With one or two tough SOB's added to this Summer, I could see them definitely waking up in that department.
bottlecap Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 sullivan should leave buffalo and go back to new england where he belongs; with the rest of the sports jackals... then maybe he could stop writing about something he knows nothing about, hockey, and write about his beloved Red Sox.

SabreNod Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I do. Avery is too much of an A-hole. He's not a guy that's widely respected. If he was, the Rangers would be re-signing him. But he pissed off too many people, and there's no changing that guy. If there is any move that would shock me, it would be Avery to Buffalo. He just does not seem like the kind of guy DR would want to bring in. He's a CHEMISTRY KILLER. AKA D*ck.

Oh well, at least I can help this deposed Nigerian price transfer his family's millions out of the country for a cut of the loot. So I got that going for me, which is nice...
