Bmwolf21 Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 I'd say I did a pretty decent job predicting some of this.. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back... :nana: You might get no.5 right as well, considering Sundin is sitting in Sweden pondering his options:
cursedmike Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 :nana: Are you kidding me?????????? Sabres sign ANY big time free agent??? You know who runs that team????? Dudley Do Right (Larry Quinn) is only about profits (and rubbing Uncle Tom's feet). And you probably think the Bill and/or Sabres will ever win a championship. You are halucinating.   As someone else suggested, here are my predictions for the free agency period; 1) Hossa will get over $9 million per year 2) Campbell will sign for between $7.5 and $8 and will not be the highest offer 3) Gaustad, Paille, Bernier and MacArthur will re-up for total cap hit of less then $5.5 million 4) The Sabres will sign a third or fourth line center, maybe two veteran forwards 5) The Sabres will sign a "power play specialist" defensemen 6) The Sabres will later surprise by acquiring a stud defensemen
wjag Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back... :nana: You might get no.5 right as well, considering Sundin is sitting in Sweden pondering his options: Aw that's nothing... Wait to you see what I have planned when Teppo retires... Most people on this board have him pencilled in as a returning starter....
inkman Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 Sabres sign ANY big time free agent??? It's #%^$#!tards like you that make me not want to get out of bed in the morning, because I know I will encounter a dozen or so nutsack fondlers like yourself throughout the day. Please list for me all the teams that clearly won Stanley Cups because of "big time" free agents signings. Here is a hint, the list is empty because an actual hockey GM cultivates his own players, while making shrewd trades to tweak the roster and possibly filling needs with an under the radar free agent signings.
