THE DALLAS MORNING NEWS REPORTS THE STARS HAVE SIGNED DEFENCEMAN MARTIN SKOULA TO A TWO-YEAR DEAL. FINANCIAL TERMS WEREN'T DISCLOSED.

I though he was a guy in our price range - I'm realistic enough not to expect the Hatchers, Prongers, Gonchars, Zubovs or even the Aucoins, but Skoula would not have been a stretch...it's looking more and more like my doomsday scenario of Brisbeois and Biron will come to fruition...I wonder if Robie would be willing to come out of retirement and lace up the skates for another season - it looks like he'll be out of work thanks to Empire's demise (and a major strike against Quinn in my book if he doesn't hire him for the pre/post game show on MSG)..
