X. Benedict Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Very sad news in hockey: Vancouver defensemen dead at age 21. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=239196&...s=topStory_main
Mike Oxhurtz Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 That's horrible news, my condolences go out to his family.

Two or less Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Very sad. I think it was this forum at the deadline we all discussed a deal where we would receive Bourdon in a deal. R.I.P.

It was long rumoured that Darcy wanted him. I think they were trying to move up to draft him, but Vancouver wasn't willing to deal him in a trade either. They were thin at D.
Bmwolf21 Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Man, it's been a weird spring for athletes' deaths. A Georgia Tech baseball pitcher died of a heroin OD in early April, a North Carolina A&T lineman died of heat exhaustion in voluntary OTA's a few days ago, U of Central Florida had a player die at spring practice, not to mention that other hockey player who just dropped dead earlier in the season... where's that shaking-head smiley when you need it? RIP.
