FYI on a Jersey sale

This kind of looks funny being my first post but anyhow I am a longtime listener and first time caller. Hockey giants has a pretty good discount on the previous version jersey, no original/vintage logo. It is authentic and is marked from 199 to around 80 bucks with shipping. I have ordered jerseys online before (ice jerseys) but have never used this site anyhow, here is the link. http://www.hockeygiant.com/65offccm61nh.html

Good deal if you are really small (46 is like a medium) or really, really large (56 is like XXL or bigger). I'm 6' 2", 190 lbs and 48 fits me like a loose shirt, while 52 fits me like a jersey (i.e., like a player without his pads on under his normal jersey.) I do have Pro Player 54, but those tend to fit like a CCM 52. I also have a rare KOHO 50, but that's game worn!

I've bought sticks from them and have never had any complaints. They emailed me a code today where you can get those jerseys for $69.99 if anyone is interested.

edit: And now I see that the code is listed on that page, so you don't need my help.

I might have to get one, although I wish they had a black one ... that's the only version of the Sabres jersey ever that I do not have one ...

Actually I do have one but can't wear it, it's an autographed Warrener jersey ... which I am looking to get rid of ... check out the Trading Post forum for more info ...

Sorry for hijacking but better than starting a new topic I guess ... <_<

Sounds like me, except I don't have the white version. I want one with a name though, which doesn't seem to be an option here.

There are several places you can send jerseys in to get customized (river city sports, icejerseys...)... it's not a bad way to go ... wait until you see a good sale, buy a blank and then get the name and number on later ... sometimes you can catch a sale for that too ...

EDIT - now that I think about it, if you are in Buffalo they will do it at Al Ross or Sorrentino's too ...

I'm not too crazy about the job most places do though, specifically with the name plate. Take a look at the fabric in a legit customized jersey and then compare it to one you have done separately. Sometimes its really stands out.

I have a white, pro-weight signed Hasek jersey if anyone's interested.

Back to the original post, these things must be going fast, there are about half as many size options as yesterday ... I just bought one ...

Still want a black one though ... never thought I would say that since I much prefer the blue and gold but ...it's now a hole in my collection ....

Watch Ebay. I search for "Sabres jersey" every few days, using the "Newly Listed" sort option to check what has been added since my last check (hint: always click on the newest one, so you can tell where the cutoff is during the next search). While XXL (replica) or 56 (authentics) are a little less common, both come up often enough. In fact, the 56's come up too often for my liking (I won't go above 52 unless it is PP, where I'll go 54) and tend not to go for as much.

Thanks ... I need to check that more, I used to do it all the time but always ignored any goathead results ...
