tom webster Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 You know what they say about history repeating itself. TSN is reporting that Kimo Timonen will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a blood clot in his ankle. One defensemen down, three to go!

Hmmmm...sounds a lot like McKee's staph infection...so is the curse "he-who-shall-not-be-named" or is it Marty?
deluca67 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Sources close to the franchise say that B-Rod offered Timo $25 million over 5 years to fake the injury so he has an excuse for bailing on the team when they need him most. Wait for it, wait for it, wait........B-Rod is still without a shot against the 'Canes in game seven.
will Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 *phew* good thing the sabres didn't sign that bum.

When you lose one d-man it is like chumming the waters. You can bet a lot of bodies are going to get thrown at Smith and Jones now.
X. Benedict Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Feel NO sorrow! He is probably the player they could least afford to lose. No sorrow. only slight twinge of shadenfreude.

I agree, he may be one of the top five two way defensemen. People think because of his size and offensive stats that he is all about offense.
