bottlecap Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I just noticed it...looks like others have noticed too.... http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?p=13622161 Here's some video...http://kdka.com/video/?id=40609@kdka.dayport.com
bob_sauve28 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I was like WTF??? Looks stupid and of course people are going to think of Hitler. What an idiot!
sabregoats Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 yeah that is in pretty bad taste. I am sure it is an accident, in which case he must be pretty oblivious to the rest of the world outside of his three foot radius.
darksabre Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 who cares? hitler wasn't the only one who wore that style and im sure there are still people who do. it was very popular back before hitler wore it. people need to learn to complain less.
Bmwolf21 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Crosby's got the most offensive mustache going, IMO. who cares? hitler wasn't the only one who wore that style and im sure there are still people who do. it was very popular back before hitler wore it. people need to learn to complain less. The Nazis weren't the first to use the swastika either, but I don't see a lot of sane, non-racist people rushing out to wear that on their clothing... It's all about the negative association.
X. Benedict Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 who cares? hitler wasn't the only one who wore that style and im sure there are still people who do. it was very popular back before hitler wore it. people need to learn to complain less. Exactly. Holy smokes Jagr looks like Charlie Chaplin. My brother wears the same style. I'm not a fan of it, but associating anyone with Hitler doesn't seem to be in good taste either. Show me a picture of Hitler with a soul patch.

Jonah Jamison, but to each his own. Regardless of whether it's a fair association, there's little doubt (in my mind, at least) that a lot of people probably associate that look with Der Fuhrer more than Charlie Chaplin. Just another example of a radical group bastardizing a symbol/look/image and destroying any positive associations.
X. Benedict Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 I actually thought he looked like J. Jonah Jamison, but to each his own. That jerk made all copy editors look bad.
evil_otto Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 Jagr with the Hitler Moustache ...in the Billiard Room? ;) No wait, it's not a Hitler 'stache w/soul patch. Look at Jagr's picture again. It's a landing strip.
rickshaw Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 It was hard to imagine but Jagr is even uglier now than he was during his mullet wearing days.
Fighting Chicken Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 he must be pretty oblivious to the rest of the world outside of his three foot radius. He's American? ;)
bottlecap Posted April 28, 2008 Author Report Posted April 28, 2008 I actually thought he looked like J. Jonah Jamison, but to each his own. Good call except no landing strip. http://www.littlestuffedbull.com/images/co...-crazedjjja.jpg
Hawerchuk Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 There is only one Hitler look-a-like... Former Detroit Coach, Dave Lewis. Spitting image no doubt. LOL! Jagr's is stupid though. Crosby is too young to even grow facial hair, ala Danny Briere.
McJeff215 Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 who cares? hitler wasn't the only one who wore that style and im sure there are still people who do. it was very popular back before hitler wore it. people need to learn to complain less. Dead on.... always looking for something to be mad about. If he was wearing a swastika and goose-stepping, then it would be an issue.

If he was wearing a swastika and goose-stepping, then it would be an issue. I'm not mad. I just compared it to a shaving pattern of hair in the female genital region. Good times! :)
ExiledInIllinois Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Didn't Hilter kill himself on April 30th, 1945? Maybe there is hope for Jagr after the game 3 drubbing! ;) ;) How I remeber?... My father was born on 4-30-36... He was 9 years old in 1945.
