Bmwolf21 Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 23 pages, let's go 24!!!!!! Briere Rules!!!!! Apparently he needs to do something - anything - during a game to get the natives all riled up. I heard Briere used to hang out with McGahee and trashed the city's nightlife and women, and also single-handedly killed the Signature Span Peace Bridge project.

That little jerk is on the board of Bass Pro. (I promised myself not to click on here......but... I.... am.... weak - thread.... too... s....strong ....must turn a.....away)
carpandean Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Didn't he rape and pillage Raleigh in 2006?
Mike Oxhurtz Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Are we doing Briere jokes now, like how everyone does Chuck Norris jokes?
stenbaro Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I for one am glad we got rid of Dale Mcourt..What a joke..We gave up Gare for this bum!!!!!!! What was Scotty thinking..
carpandean Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Woohoo!! 10 more pages as Danny puts in the lay-up!
bob_sauve28 Posted May 1, 2008 Author Report Posted May 1, 2008 bob_sauve28...What did you do? LOL, this is a lot bigger than me, man! Briere does it again! He is the man! Have to admit I enjoy watching him and Biron do well. I also like seeing the Rangers go down the toilet. Make sesne? No, so what. Life is like a box of.....
Bmwolf21 Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I hate the Flyers so much, but I am finding it hard to wish for Marty to struggle. Best case scenario (for me) is the Habs win a couple 1-0 or 2-1 games where Briere is shutout.

Best case scenario (for me) is the Habs win a couple 1-0 or 2-1 games where Briere is shutout. Hard to imagine Briere getting an easier one than his game-winner tonight. All alone at the side of the net on the PP to tap it into the wide open net. I've got Briere-Timmonen-Kovalev-S. Kotsysin (sp) and Carey Price in my hockey pool .... some Hab shutouts would be nice but if Halek is playing I need the series to go seven with some old school 1987 6-5 games in there.
X. Benedict Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 If Campbell hadn't rewired all of Umberger's brain neurons with that hit, where would he be right now? He was given a gift.
nfreeman Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I just can't believe the Flyers, who I thought were lousy to average every time we played them, are probably going to the conf. finals. But I am happy for Marty as well as for you-know-who.

GoatheadInCT Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Briere count: Conn Smythe: +1 Stanley Cup: +1 30 pages are not far off now....!
Mike Oxhurtz Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Awesome, Evil Danny got the game winner last night. I'm sure all the Briere haters on here loved that (sarcasm)! Go Danny & Marty, you guys deserve it!!!

Go Danny & Marty, you guys deserve it!!! Be careful- any praise of Danny, and the clubs come out at night! I'm very wounded by all of this, and to not be over it by now is not a good sign, but only the Sabres could remedy the situation by extending Pominville's contract a few years- then I could sleep at night. Did I mention that I really hate the Flyers?!?! :death:

It's very sad to watch this year's playoffs and we're not in it, so I'm looking forward to the summer first, then the Bills season.
Claude Balls Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 It's hard to believe how DB is carrying the Flyers a hell of alot more than CD is helping the Rangers. Most here (me included) didn't mind seeing DB go, but wanted to keep CD around. CD has all the talent around him, but DB is the one shining, and Marty has been on fire too. Right now, I would have to give DB the MVP of the playoffs up to this point. One question though, WHERE THE HELL WAS HE LAST YEAR? M-F-er! :wallbash:
X. Benedict Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Price and Kovalev have really let the Habs down. On the other side Biron and Umberger have really stepped up their games this series. There have been good games, but the level of play in the East is generally mediocre. Even very well composed teams like Montreal can't win with bad goaltending. To have missed the playoffs in the East this year was to miss by a mile.

M-F-er! :wallbash: He was on the Sabres and leading the team in scoring in the playoffs, just like he did the previous year. There have been good games, but the level of play in the East is generally mediocre. Even very well composed teams like Montreal can't win with bad goaltending. To have missed the playoffs in the East this year was to miss by a mile. Right on. It's not like the Sabres had a good season and just missed. They were lousy and didn't deserve to make it.
SwampD Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I know Danny put in the game-winner, but the real reason Philly won was Marty. He played unbelieveble. I kept waiting for him to let in one of those goals that we use to see here all the time(and earlier this season) that just make you shake yer head. He never did and in fact he made some GUGE(yes, I said GUGE) saves that really kept them in the game. It really bothers me that I can't wish these two guys ill.
Mike Oxhurtz Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Hopefully both the Sabres & Bills will have good seasons, and both will be in the playoffs.
BuffalOhio Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 If Campbell hadn't rewired all of Umberger's brain neurons with that hit, where would he be right now? He was given a gift. CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP :worthy:
BuffalOhio Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 One question though, WHERE THE HELL WAS HE LAST YEAR? M-F-er! :wallbash: He is but one small guy on a very big, very physical team. Buffalo is not and was not a very big, very physical team. I think that's why he's shining right now.
