Unless the fix is in, I see both phenoms out after the first round.

I just don't follow enough hockey to venture educated guesses on all of this -- especially for the games out west -- but what the hell, not having any idea about what's going on has never stopped from opining in the past.

Since Biron & Briere took one of the final PO spots away from the Sabres, I'll take Biron & Briere, Philadelphia (in-6)

Conklin will be tough against Ottawa, Pittsburgh (in-5)

Dumont to make it tough against Detroit, Nashville (in-7)

Campbell should prevail, enough said, San Jose, (in-6)

Dury will rise this playoff season, Rangers (in-7)

Conclusion : <Campbell wins the Cup >

Brian then asks the Sharks if it would be OK with them if he brings Lord Stanley to WNY so his x-team members can take the Cup for the day on a " Maid of the Mist " boat tour at Niagara Falls.

STANLEY CUP FINAL

ANA over MTL in 7

I can't count Anaheim out again this year, they're too good and they have all the tools to get it done, not to mention they already proved that once before. I think there's a great chacne of back-to-back championships. Also, had to go with a 7-game final.

Montreal-Boston: Montreal in 6. Trap gets Boston two wins.

Pittsburgh-Ottawa: Pittsburgh sweeps. Ottawa in a free-fall. No confidence in their goalie, Spezza/Heatley miss Alfie.

Washington-Philadelphia: Washington in 5. This could be a Washington sweep. Simply a top 5 team since Beudreau came in.

NJ-NYR: Rangers in 7. Wake me when this borefest is over.

Detroit: 6

San Jose: 5

Minnesota: 6

Anaheim: 6

Montreal-Rangers: Montreal in 6

Washington-Pittsburgh: Washington in 7

Montreal-Washington: Washington in 7. Yep. I said it. This is a VERY dangerous Caps team that nobody knows about.

San Jose over Anaheim in the West.

San Jose over Washington in the finals.

Wait, someone else plays for them besides Ovechkin? ;)

k-9 and Seth called the Pittsburgh Sweep!

Nice.

Much respect.

For the SS prognosticators, that is - not for the Sens.

Someone alluded to this by starting a thread after we were eliminated from the playoffs: That the Sens' slippage is arguably more troubling for their fans than the Sabres' recent regression is to us. There's some ignorance and wishful thinking to that conclusion - but it's not all hooey either.
