BRH Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Where the hell is the Pitt/Philly game? Center Ice? WTF? NHL Network
ROC Sabres Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Can't believe I have to root for Ottawa now... Come on Ottawa, beat Boston... I'm more worried about that then Pitt / Flyers right now with the way that Ottawa has been playing. Needless to say, Ottawa can still not make the playoffs which i find very satisfying if that happens (as long as it doesn't knock us out).
RayFinkle Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 It means the B's have to get a point in the next game or we're taking them down on Saturday and the Crapitals need to wet the bed.
awill29 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 It means the B's have to get a point in the next game or we're taking them down on Saturday Haha I like it! And I agree with Ray, Brodeur just stole that game. C'mon, Pens, hold on!!!
VABeachSabresFanatic Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Thank you New Jersey!!! Here's the current scenario (pending tonights Flyers-Pens game): To make the playoffs, the Sabres have to win their final 2 games and then have 2 of the following 3 things happen: 1. BOS loses their final 2 games in regulation - OTT and BUF 2. WAS loses their final 2 games (1 could be in OT) - TB and FLA 3. PHI loses their final 3 games (1 can be in OT) - PIT, NJ, and PIT Go Pens Go!!!
Bigthuder1636 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 8 and a half to go in Pittsburgh still 3-2 Pens Flyers now on the PP with 8 to go

Unfortunately, if they miss it then so will we because Boston will be in. It's a nice little consolation prize to think about but I'd rather make it ourselves.
ROC Sabres Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 does it really matter if philly and washington finish ahead of us??? unless they plan on 9 teams in the eastern conf this year If washington and philly lose out. I think we might actually get the 7th seed. Since we have an advantage on Philly and would have a better record(points wise) than washington. That's if Boston loses out too.
RayFinkle Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 http://www.justin.tv/rags2riches thanks....that is a pretty good feed. better than my slingbox.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Friggin refs blew a goal call for NJ. B's should have lost in regulation. That one may haunt us. PTR
RayFinkle Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 I don't see the PIT game on NHL Network?! use the linky

TB is folding like a cheap seat early in games... I don't see them playing man-up against WAS on the back-end of a back-to-back game. Now if somehow TB does show up, I could see FLA taking them down.. Chances of this happening are low in my opinion...

I'm giving them to ya. But i agree. Ott needs to (find a way) to beat Bos in reg. and Philly will need to just suck. They have a tough two games after tonight facing NJ and Pitt again so i can see that happening.... hopefully.

I figured things out last weekend and I've just been updating it after each night's games. A Pittsburgh win would be HUGE for the Sabres tonight!
Sabretooth73 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 cmon yins pens, this game needs won so i can enjoy my arn city here dahn tahn with tawd and dawn (don)
Bmwolf21 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 I don't see the PIT game on NHL Network?! I think someone screwed something up somewhere. Pitt-Philly is blacked out on my DirecTV system, it's not showing up on Center Ice and I'm not in the Pittsburgh or Philly markets, so....

FLA is a good team and Washington is rather young who knows what they will do with the playoffs on the line
