carpandean Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 My bad, millbank. I'm an idiot. Me, too. So many important games, it's hard to keep them all straight.
X. Benedict Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 As much as all three of these games mean to me and the playoff hopes of the sabres, I'm going to take the easy route and just drink some beers and watch a funny movie. I'll be tuning into NHL.com to see what the damage is around 10:30 to see if we still have a chance or not. I'll probably be checking nhl.com every 10 minutes anyways but I would rather not think about it while its happening. Regardless of the Sabres...some great hockey on tonight.
ROC Sabres Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Regardless of the Sabres...some great hockey on tonight. I decided to watch the Tampa / Carolina game since there are no good movies on that i haven't seen 100 times already. Plus it doesn't carry as much weight as the other games.
X. Benedict Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Boy. Pitt has an ugly PK. Shooting lanes open everywhere.
wjag Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 games tilting away from us.. Boston tied and Philly up.. Carter PPG
Bigthuder1636 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Zubrus second 2-1 Devils Goal disallowed after review 1-1
Buffalo Wings Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Zubrus second 2-1 Devils Correction.....still 1-1. They just waved it off. Frankly, I don't blame them, since there was no good visual evidence. EDIT: Add this one to the list of Buffalo sports....uh..."moments". I can see the News headline now: "Sabres miss the playoffs because someone else's goal was waved off." <_<
GoatheadInCT Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 NESN sucks.... ESPECIALLY Jack Edwards!!! This NESN broadcast makes me sick.. but not as sick as the NO GOAL. PUCK
millbank Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 My Kitchener Rangers play Stamkos in second round of OHA playoffs. So much hockey to follow this time of year.
Bmwolf21 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 These games are important for the sabres to make the playoffs. I will repeat what has been stated in numerous threads, besides buffalo winninng out, the canes, caps, philly, and boston must lose, starting tonight. All channels are for directv with center ice Bruins vs. Devils 7:00pm--Channel 770 and 771. Lightning vs. Hurricanes 7:00pm--Channel 772 and 773. Flyers vs. Penguins 7:30pm--Channel 215 (NHL Network). For some reason DirecTV is blacking out the Flyers-Pens game on NHL Network.
GoatheadInCT Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 For some reason DirecTV is blacking out the Flyers-Pens game on NHL Network. Karma... no doubt. It is a sign... like the Sabres season... suddenly.. blacked... out :( SIGH
JohnRobertEichel Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Well as of 8:46pm eastern time, all 3 games are not going our way. 2-1 Boston, 2-1 Philly, 4-1 Carolina....
Bigthuder1636 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Pens have a 5 on 3 powerplay Now 5 on 4 as Crosby Scored 2-2
GoatheadInCT Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Well as of 8:46pm eastern time, all 3 games are not going our way. 2-1 Boston, 2-1 Philly, 4-1 Carolina.... Carolina doesn't mean jack SQUAT if Boston and Philly both win OR go to OT tied though :( :(
Bigthuder1636 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Pens back on the PP with 630 to go in the second
Sabretooth73 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 can philly or boston pick up one point and leave us any chance???
Bigthuder1636 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Malkin scores on PP 3-2 Pens. Pens 3-4 on the PP tonight
Bmwolf21 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Malkin makes it 3-2 Pens after Fleury makes a big save... EDIT: Damn, too slow tonight...
Bigthuder1636 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 can philly or boston pick up one point and leave us any chance??? I know Boston can and I am pretty sure Philly can as well as long as they get no points in the rest of their games and we win out. We have the tiebreakers over them in that scenario I beleive
