Bmwolf21 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Did anyone else find Harry's confidence making you less certain that it would be called a goal? The more Harry said "that's in, you can see it here" the more I thought we were going to get screwed.
Bmwolf21 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Glad that line got it, that has been the only consistent line tonight in terms of energy and hard work. Mair has been particularly good and Bernier, Kaleta and Goose (they've interchanged a bit) have all played pretty good.

The more Harry said "that's in, you can see it here" the more I thought we were going to get screwed. The Toronto guys were saying "it looks like a goal, you can't see the puck outside the net, common sense says it's a goal, but they can't call it a goal."
Sabretooth73 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 well get screwed on this one trust me. get OT... yins knew dey scoered...is you dahn tahn watchin this game with dawn (don) and drinkin arns and smokin pall malls?? is the roads slippy...hey yer kennywoods open!
jrsarkov Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 why are we not attacking like we were before the goal. let's go
SabresFan526 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I honestly, didn't really see it go in, but because it was called goal on the ice, it was impossible to overturn because there is no conclusive evidence of anything. Great hard work by Big Bear. Critical goal! Let's capitalize on this break.
millbank Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Tough work , but I guess someone has to do it.. :D millbank delivers in a hurry. we should have asked him earlier.
wonderbread Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 get OT... yins knew dey scoered...is you dahn tahn watchin this game with dawn (don) and drinkin arns and smokin pall malls?? is the roads slippy...hey yer kennywoods open! Yawn...move on. <_<

Bigthuder1636 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Why oh Why do we allow opposing forwards to stop near our net and not knock the #%^$#! out of them?
R_Dudley Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 get OT... yins knew dey scoered...is you dahn tahn watchin this game with dawn (don) and drinkin arns and smokin pall malls?? is the roads slippy...hey yer kennywoods open! Go figure I'm ascared their gonna loose.... :)
Sabretooth73 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 shocker!!!!!!!!!!! sabres allow a goal shortly after scoring one...has that happened before?
wonderbread Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 what a grouch.... Its a bad stereotype. Not true of 90% of people from Pittsburgh.
Bmwolf21 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Befoer I go any further, Miller has got to make that stop. It would have been a big save to bail his team out, but he needs to stop that one. That being said - could Tallinder and Vanek have played that any worse? (Yes, Harry - that was Vanek on the backcheck, not Stafford. But I can understand how a "6" looks like a "1," though...<_<) Tallinder didn't take either guy, just kind of drifted in front of the net, and Vanek's defensive effort was, shall we say, lacking...
BRH Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 shocker!!!!!!!!!!!sabres allow a goal shortly after scoring one...has that happened before? What's shocking is they haven't given up another one yet.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 lets see if we can control the puck on this power play
Sabretooth73 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Its a bad stereotype. Not true of 90% of people from Pittsburgh. ive spent enuff time in that dump to know it isnt a stereotype....90% are like that and you know it
ofiba Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 This is fun. Sadly, this is probably the closest we'll come to playoff type hockey this year.
