R_Dudley Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 It pains me to say it, but based on results this year, this is by far the most likely outcome. While I will not be surprised if we don't win I do not belive it will be because we mail one in. It would be because Montreal is on a tear and has been one of the best teams in the east for months and the Sabres playing their 3rd game in 4 nights... That said anything can happen... Thats why they play the game....
jrsarkov Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 i am concerned about this one. i hope we are in late again and have a chance in the 3rd.
ofiba Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 frog link Looks like it's my 2nd french broadcast in 2 days. Thanks!
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 73rd start of the season, 31st start straight, 2nd in 2 nights. Miller is playing too much.

Dude, you're the biggest Miller supporter on this board. I figured you would be all, "he can handle the workload, and he will prove our faith in him, etc." Wow, I'm very shocked you of all people made that statement. Either way, STAY OUT OF THE PENALTY BOX!!!! And we have a chance of winning tonight.

EDIT: Towards the end of this 31 game stretch, his stats have significantly declined. That's an indication that he's getting worked too hard.

gregkash Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 if we ever make that mistake again i'll cry.
gregkash Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 i wish vanek would just shoot. and i really like Webber. i really like him a lot.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 i agree that it's probably too much but Miller at what he's at now is better than Thibault with all the rest in the world. You have to wonder if a night off or two may have been better in the long run.
gregkash Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 You have to wonder if a night off or two may have been better in the long run. you can wonder but you never play lose now for the CHANCE to win later.

hopeleslyobvious Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 you can wonder but you never play lose now for the CHANCE to win later. Going strictly by that logic, every team would start their #1 guy 82 games a year.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Montreal's PK is very aggressive. That can be exploited.
gregkash Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Going strictly by that logic, every team would start their #1 guy 82 games a year. not every team has a backup goalie that sucks like TBO there are teams that have faith in their backup. we are not one of them.
wjag Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 not every team has a backup goalie that sucks like TBO I think all the hate for TBO is unjustified. He hasn't had enough time to play to understand what kind of goalie he could be. If he got several starts in a row, we might see a much better player.. He did shut Montreal out this year.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 not every team has a backup goalie that sucks like TBO there are teams that have faith in their backup. we are not one of them. LOL. True, but I think a night or two off would have been better in the long run.

TBO is done imo. he's not a bad guy, i don't hate him, but i don't trust him, no matter how long he's played to have a GAA under 3.

I'm not going to believe it unless I see you post it 1 more time. I think deep down you hate him.
