Corp000085 Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 I did say soft goals when it was 2-1. I meant that the 2nd goal was soft. the blake goal was an unstoppable shot. However, the 3rd goal was soft, so if you use my 20/20 powers of hindsight, i was correct in my usage of "goals".
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 PP and Miller suck tonight. Is that better? You're so insightful.

wjag Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Blasting shot after shot with no joy... Come on Sabres... 11 minutes left in Philly and their still ahead 1-0
RayFinkle Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Sabres are outplaying them, unfortunately they aren't getting the bounces.
Corp000085 Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 The third goal was soft if he saw it....I didn't get a good look at the replay. I'm not entirely blaming miller, but if we are to win this game, he's gotta be 100% in the 3rd. there can't be an argument about "soft" goals, because there won't be any. LETS GO BUFFALO!!
rickshaw Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Well folks, things are not looking good. Let's be honest. If we lose tonight and Philly hangs on and wins, we are 3 back with 7 to go. We still play Montreal and Ottawa twice. It doesn't look good. We need to win this and stay within one. If not, I'm afraid it is over. I hope I'm wrong.
LabattBlue Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 So your logic is: Some screened shots should be stopped.... Therefore this screen shot should have been stopped? No. I'm saying the fact that he is screened shouldn't be used as an EXCUSE every time the puck ends up in the net.
jrsarkov Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 i was the first one to post that the 5-3 was the turning point before the leafs made it 3-1. toronto has 13 shots- 3 goals. we have at least 27. miller is getting outplayed tonight. we have scored the 2nd most goals in the NHL. scoring is not a problem.
wjag Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Damn.. Danny just did a wrap around goal... 2-0 Flyers.. 1:11 seconds later Malik gets Rangers to 2-1.. 7 minutes left..
LabattBlue Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Damn.. Danny just did a wrap around goal... 2-0 Flyers.. Where is the Ranger team that pounded Pittsburgh the other night? <_< <_<

They have 1 goal tonight despite quite a lot of 5 on 3 time. Scoring seems to be a bit of a problem tonight.
jrsarkov Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 rangers have life 2-1 marty just let in a SOFT one; thanks Marty
LabattBlue Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 rangers have life2-1 marty just let in a SOFT one; thanks Marty Maybe he was screened? :o If so, you can't say it was a soft goal.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Maybe he was screened? :o If so, you can't say it was a soft goal. Aren't you clever.
LabattBlue Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Aren't you clever. No. Actually I'm pissed off because for the 2nd game in a row, the Sabres are trailing at HOME by 2 goals or more heading into the 3rd period.
wjag Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 okay momentum has changed in Philly... Now let's get a goal with the first two minutes of the third.. hecht anyone.. Damn.. Danny got another one.. 3-2
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 No. Actually I'm pissed off because for the 2nd game in a row, the Sabres are trailing at HOME by 2 goals or more heading into the 3rd period.  I don't disagree that I would like to see Miller play better...it's just everything around here is "it's a soft goal, it's Miller's fault."
Ohiofan Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Yes but if they have a third like the other night all will be forgiven for sure.
wjag Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Jagr makes it 3-3 1 minute to go.. Damn 3 point game in Philly... Going to OT
R_Dudley Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Maybe he was screened? If so, you can't say it was a soft goal. Aren't you clever. You two aren't married are you :D at least this is entertaining... ;)
Corp000085 Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Yes but if they have a third like the other night all will be forgiven for sure. if i were to compliment you on your avatar would i be put in the same category as those who loved britney circa 1996 or hayden circa 2006?
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Brodeur just let up a late goal against the Islanders...if he wants Brodeur money he needs to make those saves.
