PTS Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 It just might be the fastest, most-dynamic line ever assembled in hockey. Should be interesting too watch. If USA doesn't win the Gold, dare I say I want to see Russia win.
Saber61 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 that line is going to be freakin sweet... i can't wait to watch it... i don't watch much olympic coverage but if russia plays canada im all over that.

Guest Ken Dryden Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 The great Russian line of Krutov-Larionov-Makarov was one of the best of all time.
Saber61 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 let's not go crazy here ... Federov-Mogilny-Bure had to be something to see back in the day ... they were something else but i think this new line will rival or become greater then that line... just because the rules will allow them to fly like nothing else.

I hear ya but ... 1347 NHL goals between the other three ... these guys have a long way to go, not to mention that even if Malikan and Ovechkin turn into superstars, Max is not in a class with the rest of these guys ... he's very fast, and I love him but ...
PTS Posted February 16, 2006 Author Report Posted February 16, 2006 Maxim has a goal and assist today. Ovetkin has two goals in two days.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 I plan on watching the Russia game tonight...With all this talk of Max having the potential to be a great playmaker, it will be great to see him out there with a finisher like Ovechkin. And along the same lines, I would like to see Ovechkin with someone actually setting him up. I didn't get to record the Russia game yesterday, but I saw Ovechkin's tip in.
