BetweenThePipes00 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 First of all, a great show of support from the City of Good Neighbors, wish I could have been there ... Second, according to the Sabres website Richard Smehlik was in the alumni lineup for the 9-3 victory ... any truth the the rumor that he was a minus-2? ;) :wallbash: Sorry, couldn't resist ....
mrjsbu96 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 How many shots did Ric Seiling shoot wide? Amen to the city of good neighbors. i'll try not to let this turn in to a political-type debate but several officers have been killed and several more brazenly attacked out in NYC since the start of the year and after it occurs you don't hear much more about it. The cops kill someone and rallies get held in the streets... I'm not saying they don't care out here in NYC, but how the community has rallied around this officer is the kind of small-town mentality that I miss so much about Buffalo...
WanderingEye Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Apparently the goalie for the Alumni was Mark LaForest, who I think is just a stand-in because I don't remember him ever playing for the Sabres.
