slugspirit Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Jay earned approx $174,000 for each game he played in this year.
theesir Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Sounds like one of those "sports hernias" that were all the rage here last year.
Kristian Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Sounds like one of those "sports hernias" that were all the rage here last year. Did we trade our docs to the Blues as well then? No wait, we kept those guys around to take care of Timmy, and let both Max and Tallinder play shifts with broken bones
rickshaw Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Is it really a surprise how few games Jay played? I say we owe St Louis a gratitude of thanks for signing him for more than we were willing. We had enough injuries this year thanks. Love Jay, but not sorry he left.

Jay was a hellova player for us, but it was a blessing in disguise.
nfreeman Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Good. I'll agree with Ray on this one -- not very nice at all. we need all the good karma we can get if we want to break on through this year. Unless you meant "good thing we decided not to keep him at $4 million per year given his history of getting hurt every year", in which case I withdraw my comment.
