MBD Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 It's so nice to get player back. Hopefully Timmy and Max are soon to follow. Speaking of Timmy, what was that I heard earlier about Timmy needing to play before the season ends, otherwise he'll have to sit-out the first playoff series?
wonderbread Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 sweet. but how come miller gives up an unlucky rebound and broduer gives up a horrible one? I am confused. Must be i am as drunk as roby
Strow Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Timmy would have had to sit out if we didn't clear up cap room which we did when we trade Biron and took on less. Thats what I got out of it.

Speaking of Timmy, what was that I heard earlier about Timmy needing to play before the season ends, otherwise he'll have to sit-out the first playoff series? That's not true necessarily, but there is some rule that you can't hold him out on purpose until the playoffs start (to get him under the cap) so if there is some way to prove we do that, I suppose they could force us to sit him for the first round?
BetweenThePipes00 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 I don't know. I dozed off. Me too ... I woke up and it was 2002 ... I think I saw Norm Milley out there ...

Maybe IF they get things clinched they can dress him the last game and not play him or play him one shift so he is eligible for the playoffs ... Oh and Danny kinda made up for the goal against ...
wjag Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 That was pretty.. Danny abused Rafalski and threw the puck to Hecht who beat Brodeur Buffalo:    New Jersey: :death:
JujuFish Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Sweet, 3-1! Danny just made up for his gaffe earlier.
blugold43 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 in other news, i agree, briere got caught on that goal. hopefully he's hearing about it right now. but i still insist that the sabres resurgence started when we got that guy, and it will be the beginning of the end when/if we dump him. he not only creates his own offense better than anyone we have, he creates it for other players as well. but whatever... see what i mean?
Samson's Flow Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 nice play danny, good finish by hecht. just because he made up for it doesnt mean i have to like briere. does it??
ofiba Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Ummm, I guess Briere earned that goal back. WOW!
Corp000085 Posted March 29, 2007 Author Report Posted March 29, 2007 with that move, briere>drury... maybe they can just raise the cap to $100 million so we can keep them both
ofiba Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 see what i mean? You bet we do. I guess that's why we have him on the roster. Take the lead. Good call. We get a goal and it forces them to open up a little.
Strow Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Millers play is making his words stand up. First game that I have seen in a while that he has looked good.
Hard Rain Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 OHHHHHHHH MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLER!!!!!!!!!!!
wjag Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Miller made a huge save on Zajac from the slot.. HUGE!!! Looking good with 6:30 to go...
slapshot1619 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 c'mon Hecht give us another 20 or more goal scorer
wjag Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 I called a 3-2 game and that's what we got... Man I just type looking good.... Buffalo:    New Jersey: :death: :death:
Crestwood Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 This Vanek-Roy-Stafford line is too finesse. Didn't they learn anything from Paille's goal? Shoot the puck, boys! No need to be fancy all the time.
