Two or less

My friend has been working really hard on getting a place to blast the game on over the sound system so everyone can enjoy it. He's been to several places and has come out with the best place... Woody's II. Here is the message he wanted me to post for you guys who might be interested-

Hey guys,

I did this last year and had a pretty good turnout. Well, with the amazing year so far, I decided to start early and do this thing right.

Parties this year will be at Woody's II on West Henrietta Road in Henrietta. I have talked to management and Labatts and there will be promotional giveaways each game and everyone will have a chance to win. Merchandise to be given away is all donated by Labatt's and they said that sticks, hoodies, keychains, clocks, bags and even SABRES PLAYOFF TICKETS will be available as door prizes.

Also there will be several specials available which include beer specials, food after 9, and maybe some others. I'm hoping to get discounted appetizer's as well during the games but won't know that until later.

If you have any questions, please feel free to im me at fsu3noles28 on aol or email me at millrtime30@yahoo.com.

are there any age restrictions or is it open to anyone?

No age restrictions... ANYONE is welcome and the Woodys II wanted to do some kind of promotion like "each beer = 1 ticket" but we told them that wouldn't be fair to the people who are not drinking beer like the minors, so they agreed, although, they havn't told us a way they will hand out tickets yet for prizes.

Spread the word.... good times for sure. Game audio through speakers, great prizes and great deals on food.

Are you setting up for all games or just home or road games? 'Cause I might be able to make it there for an occasional road game.

If the mighty dave_b is in attendance, then I might have to make an appearance.

There should be specials for those wearing jerseys. That would make sure that everyone is out in team colors.

Don't be surprised if I show up in Red Sox gear, it's just kinda how I roll.

...and when I say gear I mean a baseball cap.

Each and every Sabres game will have the specials.

Woodys II is really cool actually, they have kareoke every Thursday night, so we asked how will that be a problem, since that starts at 10 and most playoff games go beyond 10.... but they told us not to worry, they will make sure sound is on for the games until they end!

Their management is really cool and they really want this to be a success, so spread the word.

Hey guys,

I appreciate the interest and please keep spreading the word. Even if you don't plan on attending, It would be appreciated if you could spread the word to others in the area. My goal is to get this place as packed as possible and have an atmosphere like a bar in Buffalo would be like in the playoffs.

Here's the lowdown...

Finalized plans look like this:

You do not need to be 21 to enter. Although, if you aren't 21 you cannot sit in the bar and will need to sit at a table.

This will be for each and every playoff game. The giveaways will be available as long as they last. I will not be there for the home games, but for every away game I will be there. They will keep the thing going even if I am not there.

2 Playoff tickets will be available for raffle. I'm not sure what game they will be for, but what we will do is collect a name and phone number for each person who enters for each game. If you come to 2 games, you get 2 chances etc. We will do this all the up until the final game before the one the tickets are for and draw at the end of the night. The winner will be contacted via phone and be awarded the tickets.

Other merchandise will be available for giveaways as well. Labatts is offering up Sabres hoodies, clocks, Sabres plaques, pucks, keychains, etc for us to giveaway each game. Availablity will depend on what Labatt's is able to come up with and those items could change. (No purchase necessary)

Pitchers of Blue and Blue Light will be available for $6.

Discounted appetizers are available until 7pm so it might be best to get there a bit early to ensure you get a good seat and order an appetizer.

This will be for each game. So be sure to gather up your friends/family and fellow Sabres fans and stop out and join in on the excitement. It should be a good time!

Warning: Sending out an invitation like this could bring people of ill-repute and questionable character.

As long as they root for the Sabres, we're good!

We normally hit up T.C. Hooligan's in Webster for all the playoff games, but perhaps I can convince the fellas to give Woody's II a try for one of the games.

A Fairportian in Webster, shame on you!

Although since the Thomas/Schroeder split, a little less hate is generated for Webster.

oh score, thats like 3 minutes from RIT.

Terms like oh snap, and fo shizzle might be more suitable.

Not only that, but all the guys I watch the game with guys from Webster Youth Hockey, to boot. Every time I try and propose watching someplace closer to me like Baird Road Pub or something, I get overruled. Trust me, I hate making that trek down Five Mile Line Road at 1 AM after a rowdy night of "cheering" up there.

Well, since "the one time', five-oh, or the po-po would throw me in jail for my next offense, I'll stick to places within walking distance. :) :(

Assuming 'bankees' is comment on the Yankees payroll, that's pretty funny, considering Boston is #2 in payroll.

Not that I care, I hate the Yankees as much as anybody. :)

Now we are content bringing up the Yankees opening day starter...Carl Pavano.

Knowing the Yankees, he'll turn into effing Cy Young this year.
