wjag Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I think that it was all very well put. Except I would have added something about myopic douchebaggery, but that is just a stylistic difference. People could not understand why I just started laughing at my computer screen. That is an instant classic...
eball Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 After all that, you say his article has insight? Nope. I thought my point was clear that his article fits the pattern of the national stuff (i.e., lacking insight).
Samson's Flow Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 nicely put. im sure thats not the only e-mail he will get regarding that subject. probably some with myopic douchebaggery included as well.
evil_otto Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I read that article again and I was po'd enough to fire off this e-mail to Mr. Schmitt. Excellent letter. After reading Mr. Schmidt's article it left me saying wtf, especially after the game everyone else saw Zubrus play last night. I normally enjoy reading his articles about the Sabres, but lately he has snapped off a couple of turds. :(
Rock DJ Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 My family has had literally hundreds of stories written in the NG through the years. Just glad most of them were done by Wolcott.
JujuFish Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Nope. I thought my point was clear that his article fits the pattern of the national stuff (i.e., lacking insight). You said his article, which is in a local paper, "fits that pattern", after saying you look to local articles for insight. It was just a poorly written pair of sentences, I knew what you mean.
eball Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Just in case anyone wondered, the yellow-bellied Tim Schmitt has not answered my e-mail (surprise, surprise).
ReneRobert Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Just in case anyone wondered, the yellow-bellied Tim Schmitt has not answered my e-mail (surprise, surprise). He used up all his crayons writing his column, and needs a new 64-box before he can respond...
