LabattBlue Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 He is the Sabres best dman, but one small thing about him continues to bother me. His wrist shot and backhand when trying to clear the puck out of his zone are maybe the weakest I've ever seen. You would swear that he has no bones in his wrists(just a bunch of flopping flesh  ). You would thing the coaches could work with him to improve this part of his game, but it always seems to stay the same. Watch him closely next game and you'll see what I mean. That being said, I hope he stays in Buffalo for the next 5-8 years.
Ogie Oglethorpe Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 You're right, no bones, only titanium rods.
apuszczalowski Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I'll give the guy a break (no pun intended) He did spend most of the past year nursing a broken arm, kind of hard to come back and have all your strength back. Give him time to build the strength back up
Stoner Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I knew before I read this post what it was going to be about. I noticed the one weak clear last night, but it's really the only time I've seen him do it. Just the opposite, that's one of the great plays in Tallinder's bag of tricks: the sky clear. It's neat.
Corp000085 Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I have another problem with hank, but he was "cleared of any charges" so i guess that problem doesn't matter.
