bob_sauve28 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Never give up hope! Encouraging at least. I'll believe he is going to play when I see it
RayFinkle Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Timmy back on the ice....again I fixed your title for you.
scottnc Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 I don't want to hear another word about Timmy until I hear "He's in the lineup tonight".
SDS Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 I don't want to hear another word about Timmy until I hear "He's in the lineup tonight". "He's in the line up at the Williamsville Wegman's tonight."
rtconner Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 How awesome would that be if Connoly and Max both returned just in time for the playoffs. That right there is about 1.5 goals per game added to the scoreboard. *Crosses fingers*
Bmwolf21 Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 I don't want to hear another word about Timmy until I hear "He's in the lineup tonight". "He's in the line up at the Williamsville Wegman's tonight." Seriously, I am not going to get excited until I see him on the ice for his first game shift. Some of this stuff is approaching Feris Bueller-type proportions: "Um, his knee doesn't really hurt. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Timmy skating at the Pepsi Center last night. I guess it's pretty serious." Other than that, all of this is just smoke, mirrors and BS...

ofiba Posted March 21, 2007 Author Report Posted March 21, 2007 Doesn't mean much...but more encouraging news...
Crestwood Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I wish no one would say a thing about Connolly and one night we just see him line up at center ice to take the opening faceoff.
darksabre Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I wish no one would say a thing about Connolly and one night we just see him line up at center ice to take the opening faceoff. I would probably defaecate myself, and I'm okay with that. I just don't wanna hear about him until he's back out and the puck is dropped.
FearTheReaper Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 If Connolly does indeed comeback, what do you think the lines will look like? The Briere line will never change but i think Roy-Drury-Zubrus would be a kick ass line. Which leads us to where i think Connolly will go, imagine this line,Vanek-Connolly-Afinogenov, holy crap that would be amazing they would stockpile the points up to the raffters. But well see what happen, i really hope that line becomes a reality
Corp000085 Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 there's a hockeybuzz rumor that he'll be in the lineup either saturday or next monday... Also stated in that article is that lydman and paille will play wednesday. Don't know how true it is, but start to check the AHL transaction wires for macarthur/ryan movement. http://www.wgr550.com/sabres/fullstory.php?id=2268 as per the above link, lydman did not practice this morning, Connolly and kotalik did. no word on paille or afinigenov. as of right now, and just becuase its not in type somewhere, Lydman, Connolly, Paille, and Kotalik HAVE NOT been ruled out of Wednesday's game, although its fairly likely connolly and kotalik won't play till at least the weekend. Lydman not practicing this morning is worrisome for wednesday. Boy it would sure be sweet to have at least 3 of those guys back by the weekend.
Ogie Oglethorpe Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Good sign that Kotalik is back on a line in practice. Sounds like he may have seen a break through in his skating.
shrader Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 It figures that some of these guys might finally return for a game that I won't be able to watch much of. Stupid playoffs in my mens league.
BuffalOhio Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 It figures that some of these guys might finally return for a game that I won't be able to watch much of. Stupid playoffs in my mens league. What, you didn't get suspended for yelling at the refs?
eball Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 If Connolly sees actual ice time over the next two weeks I'll schitt myself. I recently watched the end of game one of the EC semifinals vs. Ottawa again...I want Connolly in the lineup.
