TM8-PL16 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 check out conklin's new mask at this link... http://www.wgr550.com/column.php?id=0451
Chief Enabler Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 I like it. It's pretty kewl looking. If Conklin was in the locker room with Miller & Biron, would it sound like this?
sabregoats Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 If Conklin was in the locker room with Miller & Biron, would it sound like this? which one is napoleon
Chief Enabler Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 which one is napoleon Marty :D Kip is Miller, Conklin played by Uncle Rico
DWarner Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 I like it, but the real question is... does it fit?
ThePebble19 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Looks good...Actually makes the new logo look kind of sexy.
Supersabre Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Now that's a great looking hockey mask. It would definitely be in a category of top 10 goalie masks which is probably a whole nother thread.

inkman Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 I like it. It's pretty kewl looking. I hope that is a joke.
Doohicksie Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Looks a heluva lot better than Miller's. That's it. Start Conks from now on.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 That's it. Start Conks from now on.
evil_otto Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Conklin got a quick turnaround on his new helmet as opposed to Biron, who apparently sent his to Mars to get redone the second time. ::Hmmm, I wonder if Ty (or the artist) intended for the slug on the sides of the helmet to look like the letter "C"?

Marty sent his oversea. You can see a label on the third picture that says Middleton,MA. I can see how that would be a bit quicker, especially since it's a fairly simple design.

What company takes three months to paint and ship a mask back?

He should've had that one back a little quicker than it actually took, but it was "lost" for a little while. I thought he said in an interview way before the trade that he was having a second one done... and if that one didn't fit right, then he would just have the whole team sign his white one.

Does anyone remember exactly when the first one finally showed up?
frisky Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 I hope that is a joke. That's how it's spelled now. It will make it in to the dictionary soon. Not to worry.

He sure got his Flyers mask quickly, however....
