GreenDice Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Looking at the +/- stat on NHL.com. It is very surprisng that these guys' are so much better on the road: Home Road Pominville +2 +22 Briere 0 +17 Hecht -4 +19 Kalinin 0 +13 Paetsch +1 +9 Play them in the "Road team"
dusty west Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 that is very interesting. especially pomniville who seemed to me to have plenty of goals at home. i cant say its necessarily a bad thing to have plenty of the team plat better away than home. whatever, its all starts over in a few weeks. its our time
JohnRobertEichel Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 We're currently the best road team in the NHL at 23-9-3. Another interesting fact is that we are only 3 road wins away from setting the franchise record for most regular season road wins (25, established last year). We have 6 road games remaining  .
Stoner Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 When the playoffs rolled around, the Sabres were very good at home, 6-2, but only .500 on the road.
Bmwolf21 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 When the playoffs rolled around, the Sabres were very good at home, 6-2, but only .500 on the road. If you have home-ice advantage, that's all you have to do - win at home and hold serve on the road...
