Corp000085 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Game starts at 5pm. I will try my best to be on tv, and i'll be going to that blincos place beforehand, so if anyone in the roll call thread wants to meet up, i'll be there. Anyhow, i predict a nice 3-1 victory for the sabres.
Hawk Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I think this will be a clunker for the Sabs. Back to back games, late night travel, with weather problems, and earlier game. Just dont think the legs will be there. Canes 4 Sabres 1 :(
Claude_Verret Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I want to know how losing one game in your last eight is considered slumping? WTF? Form today's Raleigh N&O: "Buffalo roams into town slumping too" Link I'll be at Blinco's as well before the game.
bob_sauve28 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 What moron scheduled this game? It amounts to two games in less than 24 hrs. And the Sabres have to travel. At least we have a young team. I guess the only good news is that the Canes have been slumping. Its such a big game for us. A win and we are 1 point out of first.
jayg Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 We are leaving Richmond shortly! Probably hit Blincos before the game.

Form today's Raleigh N&O: "Buffalo roams into town slumping too" Link I'll be at Blinco's as well before the game. Luke Decock wrote that. So ignore it. He sucked as a gay porn star, and he sucks as a hockey writer. :P
PTS Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Luke Decock wrote that. So ignore it. He sucked as a gay porn star, and he sucks as a hockey writer. :P The question that needs to be asked is why were you watching gay porn? This game has loss written all over it, if the Sabres manage a point this afternoon I'll be very surprised.
Stoner Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Oh, you're sooo funny PTS. Hiiiiilarious. lol If you must know, I wasn't watching Mr. Decock in action. My roommate of 11 years, Brad, was.

hopeleslyobvious Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Sabres 2-0. Going out on a limb, but I expect Miller to have a big game...The big games against those connected to team USA will continue against Team USA's coach.
Hank Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Biron gets the start, and the win. Campbell scores on the power play, Drury an empty netter and Pyatt the other. 3-1 final, sabres get out shot badly.
Seannie34 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 do you know Biron is starting or is that a guess?
Two or less Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 2-1 Sabres. Drury and Kotalik with goals.
JujuFish Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I will not make a prediction on the score. I do believe, however, that the Sabres will come out of it with at least a point.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Good start to the day, MSG feed on Center Ice ...
Don Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Good start to the day, MSG feed on Center Ice ... Agreed. Seems like we get it more often than not.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 ridiculous ...how come sabres goalies are always SO bad playiing the puck outside the crease?
Seannie34 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 wow Chris Drury got hooked to the ice right infront of that official on the last pp and nothing was called. they called a lot of penalties but missed atleast 2 hooks/trips on buffalo players.
mediumishot Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 stop and go first period, too many penalties, PK looks good tho, liked seeing kotalik go after whoever dropped drury at the end of the period....need some more offense in the 2nd, hopefully PP will do something coming out of the gates
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Tough break on that goal...Could anyone tell if that was tipped or if Miller was just screened? So my prediction is already wrong. Oh well.
Seannie34 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 this is the worst i have seen our powerplay look all year. hopefully we can kill off this penalty.
Seannie34 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Sabres tie it up 1-1 with a nice wrist shot from Dumont. it was looking pretty bad for awhile...
