SDS Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I'm NOT speaking of fan sites, I am speaking about ESPN, SI, etc... type sites with professional reporters. Where do you get your official news from?
JujuFish Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 TSN power rankings, baby! With that out of the way, I don't use any particular site. I browse all around. NHL, ESPN, CBS, SI, TSN...
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 TSN, Yahoo, The Hockey News, and numerous others.
DrunkenSabre Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 TSN.ca mainly, NHL.com sometimes.

bob_sauve28 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 yahoo is really excellect, in my opinion
Stoner Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I don't think you can necessarily exclude fan sites. I know for a fact that because of a good source in the Buffalo media, a fan site was the first to publish details of Dominik Hasek's trade to Detroit in 2001.

I know for a fact that because of a good source in the Buffalo media, a fan site was the first to publish details of Dominik Hasek's trade to Detroit in 2001. Yeah, but, a very well repected football fan site was the source for the details behind Mike Sherman's hiring... A fan site just isn't the most reliable source for correct info...
Stoner Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 CNN once reported that the first President Bush died in Japan after barfing that time. And recently media outlets reported that the miners in West Virginia were alive.

There is a very specific reason for the question, but I do agree with you.
deluca67 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 The Hockey News (thn.com) has a decent web page. Good stats and info. also, Hockeydb.com for complete info on older players.

Knightrider Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 that was a guy on a message board.... And the owner of the message board was ahead of the curve on that info... ;)
Don Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 http://www.hockeysfuture.com/ This is an excellent site for news and information about prospects. They do a pretty good job of keeping it up to date.
