Claude Balls Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Has anyone seen Dainius Zubrus? He was paid lots of money to come help the Sabres this year, and yet, he hasn't shown up to work. Any help in locating this individual would be greatly appreciated.

inkman Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I've seen him, he's the guy who you think is Ales Kotalik.............but isn't. Right now I'd take half a Kotalik over 2 Zubrus'.
Kristian Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Yeah, look for him to complain about his icetime real soon, and I'll be certain he's actually Slave Kozlov in disguise.
inkman Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 At this rate 15 is going to get benched in the playoffs.
Kristian Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 At this rate 15 is going to get benched in the playoffs. And good riddance, I'd rather dress Peters at this point. Now, I hope this is just a case getting used to a different style of hockey and a new team, but my gut keeps telling me something else.
bob_sauve28 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Were not some people wanting to sing him next year to replace Danny or Chris when they left?????

sabreman Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 :bag: there was absolutly no reason for zubrus to come here!We were supposed to get bill guerin oh my god!we traded kotaik who was one of the most popular dressing room players for a rental!
Strow Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I think I saw someone on this board say that when he play wing he isn't nearly as effective as when he plays center. He needs to be moved off that line, he can't cycle the puck with drury very well.
grinreaper Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I didn't know we traded Kotalik. Does he know it? Lindy should at least tell him before he tries to return to practice with the team.

LabattBlue Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 If nothing else, I would like to believe a player would be playing above his expectations for the first few games with his new team because of the adrenaline rush. Zubrus seems to be the exception to this rule. I know it's only been a few games, but this guy has shown me nothing at all.
Bmwolf21 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Moderators. It's time. Sadly, I concur...

Allan in MD Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 You very suddenly move. When you arrive for work at your new job, they give you a different position than you previously had held. Yeah, you are just gonna quickly settle in and excel. Give the guy a break.

wjag Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I refuse to pile on Zubrus. He'll score I just know it. Here is what I noticed about him on the PP. Check it out tonight. I'll bet it doesn't change. Zubrus sets up at the right circle, goalie left. He doesn't shoot from that point no matter how many times he gets the puck there. He usually cycles it down low and then goes to the net. The problem in the last two games is that the Sabres haven't been able to get a shot on goal or when they did last night, there weren't any rebounds. I've seen this enough to relalize this is a set play and it is just a matter of time. He is going to catch a Danny B rebound.
cdexchange Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Are talking about Zubrus or sabreman? :D
apuszczalowski Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 We should complain aboutplayers more often, maybe they have this board on small screens by the bench, he has given them the lead atone point during this game
cdexchange Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 Moderators. It's time. Hmmm...it's been nearly 24 hours now. Who knew you wielded that much power around here :D
DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 Yeah, look for him to complain about his icetime real soon, and I'll be certain he's actually Slave Kozlov in disguise. LOL...............
