hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I can't think of better games to lose than to the Western Conference. Tonight is a 2 point game. Tomorrow is a 4 point game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as of right now half of his starts have been shutouts? Slightly less than half now.
wjag Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 well, well, well Ryan mugs Skuola, steals the puck and lifts it over to prevent the shutout Buffalo:  Minnesota: :death: :death: :death: :death:
apuszczalowski Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 well, atleast one Sabre is still playing (besides Conklin)
jrsarkov Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I know that tomorrow night is more important. But, geeez- if we can't beat these teams, what are we going to do after jersey has been resting and that is a team we always have trouble with.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we're 1-1 against NJ this year?
JujuFish Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 And with that score, we continue our streak of not being shut out. Only the Flames have a longer such streak.
Corp000085 Posted March 10, 2007 Author Report Posted March 10, 2007 ok, there's a 5 on 3... this could get very interesting, very quickly
jrsarkov Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 that is true. but, what are we against them in the past 10. and, tomorrow is saturday night. since we beat philly in november we don't play well on saturday nights except against toronto- how bout that
Corp000085 Posted March 10, 2007 Author Report Posted March 10, 2007 wow. outstanding effort by drury there. sign briere.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 that is true. but, what are we against them in the past 10. and, tomorrow is saturday night. since we beat philly in november we don't play well on saturday nights except against toronto- how bout that Considering 4 of those games were pre-lockout I don't know if you can go back that far. EDIT: Not to mention two players name Scott who don't play for them anymore.
wjag Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Are you kidding me a 5 on 3 shortie??? Buffalo:  Minnesota: :death: :death: :death: :death: :death:
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I'm not a naysayer at all, in fact I think the team will be great in the playoffs. However, it always seems the other team is able to keep the puck in on the power play, while we can never keep it in on our PP. Hopefully they're up for Jersey tomorrow. It's a four point game. Also a shame they had to stink it up when the broadcast was going out around the world on Armed Forces Network. I remember only seeing Buffalo once or twice a year and it was when ESPN had the game.
JujuFish Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Wow...I'm glad I missed everything but the last 7 minutes of this game to see 300.
jrsarkov Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 5-1; 5-1............ did we just play the 76 habs?
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Wow...I'm glad I missed everything but the last 7 minutes of this game to see 300. Awesome movie wasn't it?
Corp000085 Posted March 10, 2007 Author Report Posted March 10, 2007 time to erase these western conference "gimmies" from the memory banks.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 time to erase these western conference "gimmies" from the memory banks. A win tomorrow brings us back up to a 5 point lead in the conference with a game at hand. EDIT: Quick note that Brodeur has given up at least 3 in each of his last 4 starts. Score early, and that game will open right up.
inkman Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 wow. outstanding effort by drury there. sign briere. lets not rush to judgement... time to erase these western conference "gimmies" from the memory banks. I don't think any game in the NHL is ever a gimme. Just saying... A win tomorrow brings us back up to a 5 point lead in the conference with a game at hand. I really hate all the conjecture about being #1 in the conference/league. I could care less. Just finish in the top 8 in the East. I'll take my chances with the seeding. Zubrus looks so weak out there.. Who is this Zubrus guy everybody keeps talking about?
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I really hate all the conjecture about being #1 in the conference/league. I could care less. You don't deal with Devils fans on a daily basis.
