wjag Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Just to feed the anti-Kalinin threads, he gave away the puck behind the net before the goal. yep...sure did
rickshaw Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Big trouble now. Minny is dynamite with the lead. Could be 55 minutes of shutdown hockey now.
ThePebble19 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 we should have played Conklin tonight...I really want to see Miller against the Devils...
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Kevin Sylvester just said that it will be Miller between the pipes tonight. Guess Conklin will get his Bflo debut manyana. I would imagine Miller is going to start both.

wjag Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Going south fast.. Moore got his second.. Buffalo: Minnesota: :death: :death:
Bmwolf21 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Apparently the Sabres didn't use up their allotment of "bonehead" plays against the Avs...
HopsGuy Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Going south fast.. Moore got his second.. Buffalo: Minnesota: :death: :death: The Wild are opportunistic. Moore has been a sniper. Lots o' time left, but their goaltender is averaging a shutout every other start.
hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 We look slow and sloppy tonight. :( As we always seem to do against the trap...hmm.
bob_sauve28 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 My cat has already gone into hiding. He knows I'll be pissed off the rest of the night

hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Come on guys. Sending shots at his chest with no one in front of the net ain't gonna get it done... Can't buy a goal in this one.. I see a goal coming soon. Couple of good chances in a row there.

hopeleslyobvious Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Now come on Buffalo... After that penalty shot save... get one now!!! Very nice save....I would like to see some more penalties called. Minnesota is starting to clutch and grab a little.
EdwardSauve Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 As I remember it, the Bears 4-6 defense was considered unbeatable until someone figured it out. Why is it, then, that no one in hockey has figured out how to beat the Neutral Zone trap. I honestly can't believe that there isn't a solution out there, but since the 1995 Devils I haven't seen one. Maybe this is what the game has become. It wouldn't matter if the Sabres or Ducks or Sharks or anyone rolled 6 lines, the trap is how the game is won. Coaches are not paid to maintain the integrity of the game. They are paid to win games. Hockey may be in serious trouble. (That may be the beer speaking).
bob_sauve28 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I'm wondering if that flu bug that hit Briere and Talinder isn't laying a few other players low. It would explain a great deal.
HopsGuy Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Zubrus looks so weak out there.. That's what I was thinking. What's with this guy? In other news... MY KINGDOM FOR A BOUNCE! [it ain't much of a kingdom. More like a messy apartment I'd like someone to come and clean from time to time.]
Claude Balls Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 If Buff can't figure out how to beat one of these trap teams, then don't plan on seeing a cup run this year. They are pitiful right now. And who the hell is this Hardon guy Minny has playing goal. I've never heard of him. Ray says Minny's speed is the problem? Where the hell is Buffs speed?
