Weird, I thought there could only be 3 guys on the Taxi Squad. Maybe because Miller is staying here for the break?

Either that, or maybe the taxi squad is 3 skaters so Ryan doesn't count against the 3 man limit. Or maybe Waddell just has his head so far up his nether regions that he doesn't know the rule. Or the reporter screwed up the story.

This possible explanation comes from someone at USA hockey. The taxi squad can have as many players as the GM would like. However, they can only actually replace injured players three times.

In light of Shrader's post, I should probably add after my Waddell comment: Or maybe its just that I have no clue as to what the $%@#% taxi squad is. ;)

 

It can't be my fault, it must be that lying reporter's fault. :P

It honestly looks like Miller was just added to the Taxi squad as an acknowledgement that they screwed up.
