Marty is looking good. I wonder if the Flyers will let him keep using his equipment with the Sabres colors?

My god, I never thought I would find myself rooting for Philly.

both of these teams suck. maybe the OT will end and we can finally see biron in a shootout situation. i know hindsight is 20/20, but i do hope regier traded away the right goalie!

You have to mean either Marty or Noronen or Marty or Dennis right???

And that's why Marty isn't a starter for the Sabres.

Yeah, geez, he gave up a shootout goal to the best player in the world. Good golaies never do that

Obviously they dealt the right guy. No need to keep taking shots at him now that he is gone.

On another note, Pittsburgh went 8-0 vs Philly this season. Must be nice. They have scary talent, but ... they are not there yet.

I'm talking about Miller!! We should have cut biron 3 years ago, traded miller, and kept Mika! The 3 headed goalie monster of 2002 lives!

just kidding... Miller is obviously the guy. good luck to marty. the only reason why i still care about him is because he still wears blue and gold pads and sabres pants. when he gets his new equipment, he'll be as good as steve shields, dwayne roloson, or hasek in my book. a distant memoryl.

6.66--the average number of goals per game the Sabres have scored against the Flyers this season. Makes me wonder what the Sabres would be doing if they were playing in a division with a doormat or two playing in it... God, I'd love it if Marty walked from the Flyers this offseason. Won't happen, but I'd love to see it.

Not to mention that we're getting the first pick in the second round for him. I'd say that's a nice tradeoff.

I posted after the game, but I was talking about the goal he gave-up that tied it.

note:he was TERRIBLE on the third shot!

good to see the sell-out lose!

i KNOW you did not just call marty a sell-out!?!?!!?

If I was in his position... I would have taken a pay cut to get a Cup... Then move on next year!

but you cant take a pay cut mid-season.

that and darcy was the one who moved him, he had no choice in the matter. he was quoted some thing along the lines of "buffalo is my home, this city will always be my home." this guy is nothing but class and has so much love for the city of buffalo and its fans. i cant believe you guys are turning on him this quickly

This sums up how all of us expatriates feel about Buffalo. I haven't lived there now for 25+ years and I still tell people that I live in MD but Buffalo is my home..
